Looking at the sample photos , that VF-5000B looks kinda big .   Isn’t it supposed to be tiny like the VF-1?

Here you go. I kind of eyeballed using the Display Stand from various photos I've found at MWF.

I don't like those colors, but I have been waiting for this for along time, ever since studio half eye did theirs. I want the studio half eye colors, they are so much better. these colors make it look like a toy instead of a military plane. Maybe if Arcadia tones down the green and yellow it will look better, but at least I know the engineering will be arcadia standard, which is phenomenal

Yeah. I think the version you're referring to is the VF-5000B from Macross Plus game. And yes, I like this one too.

Found this Studio Half Eye manual of the said VF-5000B kit above from the old MacrossWorld links. The transformation sequence is the same as the 1/60 3D printed one video. Looks like this is the basis for it.

yeah, that's the one. But really, this bot looks good in almost all schemes except for that weird green yellow combination........ i really do hope they do the repaint and milk the mold, i would buy them/. Its really refreshing to see something that hasn't been done before. milk away

One would think if Arcadia was going to milk a mold with color schemes, they would have done it with the VF-4G....but they didn't .

Sadly I think we're past the point where they're ever going to milk any particular mold again.  For as many times as they've re-released the YF-19 mold, I'm really surprised they didn't do that one, but I'm guessing their numbers from sales of the other versions just couldn't justify it.

Issue there is it may not be popular enough to justify a run. Even if the molds already exist, Arcadia does have to hire a factory to do the production run with a minimum production quantity.

I wish these companies would start splitting the runs up like it looks like KitzConcept just did. They can produce 500 units and get the minimum factory run but do it in several paint schemes.

You and me both. Though the downside there is it only works for KC because of the amount of paint they use. Have to cast all the variants in the same base colors.

Was just about to say Arcadia could have done the VF-19A when they re-issued the YF-19, but having to cast in the same base colors as a pre-requisite prevented them from doing so, makes sense I guess.

Arcadia did re-issue the red Garland & did the Army Garland recently at the same time, and look to be the same production run. But this is because the Garland is fully painted like the KC VF-1s..

I read somewhere recently that KC has their own factories now. If any truth to that, it might give them more flexibility to do whatever kinds of runs they want.

I’m so excited for this! I’d definitely prefer a more standard RL low visibility paint scheme as opposed to a ‘hero’ paint scheme but I’ll take whatever. 😃😃😃

Maybe they’ll make the most of the mold and do both!
