Huh, another difference I didn't notice consciously! Good eye. Looks like they're leaving themselves the option to leave off the rear cockpit extension in future releases if they want to match the official design.

Yeah this is looking like the Mospeada figures for me, scale and price are just right, definitely in for a Tread too whenever that happens. I don't know, I want to wait for the green one, but I may grab the blue one for now just to check it out, then go all in when green releases.

This is a fork of the main unit, it is a 'test machine'...i.e. VF-X/Macross Plus development fighter...AFC-01X Legioss Omega!

Now I understand the liberties with the design, its truly meant to be an evolution of the original design, not an interpretation.

Yeah, the doofy backside of the cockpit has always bugged the crap out of me on the Legioss, for both aesthetic and aerodynamic reasons.  I get that it doesn't really matter when you have micro-nuclear reaction engines, but it still looks stupid.

Sentinel calls it 1:48, despite rampant evidence to the contrary. 😒

Anyone familiar with the anime will question Sentinel's diminutive stature (and the way the pilot barely squeezes into the cockpit), and logically conclude it's closer to 1:60 scale...

Of course, the old "Tatsunoko's official stats are whack" argument is akin to flogging a dead horse nowadays.

I do hope Toyrise's Legioss do well so we continue to get other stuff inspired by Breaker's line. Safe to say Sentinel won't be releasing more of Breakers as Gate's ride armor didn't seem to do so well.

That FB video has no sound, so couldn't hear what the person was saying regarding the height of Toyrise's, but eyeballing his ruler puts it in ballpark of 14cm up top of his head minus the head laser. Thats about the height of the HMR VF-1.

On SentineI's, I was pretty sure its shoulders were all covered up, but not so much after all:
