Quick update from Italy. Crunchyroll just uploaded the entire Genesis Climber Mospeada series here in my country. It's subbed not dubbed but it doesn't really make a difference to me. Hopefully this is a good sign that we will be getting soon all the other Macross shows and eventually southern cross too. Fingers crossed.

Thanks, i never really looked into that UV top coat because i never had any yellowing problems with my gundam model kits. I always thought that the plastic Bandai uses for its Gunpla were made...of something different Now i know it's not like that and will definitely look for it. Do you, by any chance, remember the brand of it?

Hey everybody, today it's sunday and i used a little bit of my free time to take some puctures of my Dijeh RE 100. I actually built this kit few years ago right after it was released but only lately i did some extra work on it. I put some extra decals on and add a layer or two of top coat. Unfortunately i noticed that it's one of my few gunpla (actually maybe the only one) who yellowed a little bit...it's a real shame since it seems like it's becoming a hard kit to find and I don't think Bandai is going to reprint it soon. Anyway i hope you like lens flare!

I agree 100%. I don't mind waiting as long as in the end the quality of the final product is high. Let's cross our fingers that this will be the case

The alpha fighter prototype you see in these pictures is not a toynami product but it's a Pose+ product. They are a great brand, i own most of their super robots toys and they are awesome. They are pretty slow though and, in the last few months, they showed other prototypes of other robots that will probably be released earlier than this. So considering the pace of their releases, i think it's probably going to take at least a couple of years.

Well, from what i remember both the VF-25 cf and the VF-31 kairos do have aircraft numbers on them. Which makes it kinda difficult to add extra decals to differentiate the VFs. Unless you took out the original markings, find the right decals and applied them instead of the Bandai ones. But honestly it's mission impossible. If there are no aircraft numbers it's muche easier to buy multiple copies and put different marking numbers on them. To me it never made sense to have two Kaiors both with the O3 aircraft number. Clearly this is not a isssue for custom VF, like Alto, Hayate or Hikaru.

Thank you. When(???) Bandai will release it without any QC problems i could buy multiples and put some waterslide decals on them. It would be a great solution, i wish Bandai would have done that also for the other CF VF they released so far.

I do not own a DX VF-171 NIGHTMARE in its cannon fodder version and i have a question. Is there anywhere on the toy an aircraft number? I didn't see any in these pictures but i know Bandai likes to put one on most of its CF releseases...Looks beautiful anyway.

Personally to me it's the opposite.I am inexplicably drawn to every black recolor, even the non canon ones(which i usually never buy). But yes, this one is particular also for another reason. I don't know if you are familiar with the oav series but the interesting thing about this recolor is the fact that it is indeed explained why the Getter changes color from red and white to black and grey. Although I have to admit i am not quite sure it does make sense from a real world point of view. Probably not. But i do appreciate the effort.

Getter 1 and Black Getter carbotix from blitway. Looking forward to the upcoming Shin Getter 1 and i have hopes for a Shin Getter 2 and 3.

Finally got my Black Getter carbotix from Blitzway. I really like the design, less details than the one from Sky X studio but definitely closer to its original version in "The last day". The only thing i really don't like are the eyes. They are not enough... "red", which i always thought it was one of the most distinctive traits of the robot.

It's great. Actually one of the best i had in my hands lately. I do own the blitzway version too and i love it as well. Actually probably i like it even more than this one, but just because it's more anime accurate. I would say though as far as joints, mobility, accessories the Sky x studio is a powered up version of the blitzway (which is still a great piece). Also no qc issues detected so far. If you like Getter robot i would suggest you get this one too, you won't regret it

Yes, it can be pretty confusing. This one is the Getter 1 from a OAV series (1998-99), which title is "Change! Shin getter robot! The last day of the world". It is basically a re-tale(nowadays we would call it a reboot) of the original tv show of the 70s with some parts taken from the manga. It's a masterpiece and i really suggest you try to watch it, believe me you won't regret it. In any case this models takes some liberties from the one on the screen and does have some details that are different from the one shown in the anime.

Just got my item in stock notification from Anime Export. I know DHL raised its prices a bit lately...hoperfully shipping won't be so painful... Anyway i hope i will have it in my hands by the end of next week...

Thank you for your review. I am so looking forward to getting it. I own the previous Getter 1 release (released in 2019 i think) and it kinda has similar problems. I am glad though that the joints are super tight. I am tired of loose legs and arms. Hopefully they will do a good job with the new shin getter 1

Does anybody know when the new carbotix black getter will be released? First date was december 2023 and i was under the impression that the toy was actually released in Hong Kong. Despite this, everything is silent on the usual japanese websites, including the one i placed the preorder with...it doesn't seem to be in stock anywhere yet and no live pictures either.

1/12, so it probably means around 16 cm right? Good scale for this kind of figures. I hate it when they make human figures too big or tall

It is a bit confusing but my understanding is that it should work like amazon.it or uk or com, from which i usually order and from time to time i got an email saying that i was able to save few bucks from the pre-order price. And even if i won't be able to get a lower price once the item it's in stock, it doesn't matter i still think i got a good deal.
