jenius Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Even an Angelbirds with 35th Incorporated into it would make so much more sense.
Lolicon Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 I suppose I could get this in the bargain bin and just paint over it. Oh but why bother. That's just too much work.
no3Ljm Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Tenjin should've left the heatshield blue. And not create that 'Renault' looking logo. I rather have a transforming Org-Roid than that.
arrow Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 they should have done a custom head. especially since the last anniversary one was a 1j
SuperDimensionalDave Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 (edited) The 35th reminds me on the kind of paint scheme Toynami would come up with for one of their "original variant Veritechs". Like the VF-1R from the animation error with the 5 head lasers. Edit. I take it back. It's too complex for them. Edited April 11, 2018 by SuperDimensionalDave
jenius Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Toynami has done much better on original schemes. They're stealth schemes have been fine, especially the Navy blue one. The 1R was fine too, from head to color, I thought it worked well.
SuperDimensionalDave Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 It wasn't to say that those were bad per se but that I expect more from Mr. Hidetaka. Although based on the 30th ann scheme perhaps my expectations were unfounded.
edstuff Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 I wish they would shock us with a super ostrich or elintseeker
sh9000 Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 (edited) If Arcadia was able to make one, I’d personally buy a 1/60 VF-1S Messer without any purple on the chest instead of this 35th Anniversary Valkyrie. Edited April 11, 2018 by sh9000
Vifam7 Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 I just have to wonder from where Tenjin is getting inspiration for these anniversary schemes. The real life aerobatic team colors and JASDF anniversary liveries are far more appealing.

valkfighter Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 omg this is how Arcadia celebrates 35 anniversary? uglyness perfected. yak deculture!!

valkfighter Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 for 35 anniversary I would prefer a Minmay guard scheme including a minmay figure in the box as well.

Sildani Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Hopefully at Summer Wonderfest. I’ve occasionally tweeted “Sv-51?” at Mr. K with no response.

treatment Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 Ya know? Arcadia should release Shin's F-14 (along with his squad) and their rival MiG-29. In 1/60 scale, of course. Non-transformable, but die-cast,panel-lined and stuff. Especially some damaged/blown/holed-wings parts and pilot figures. Just to keep us all even moar wanting their new SV-51's...

I have plenty of mig-29's otherwise... .... but Shin's tomcat in 1/60... they'd get me with that one for sure! Edited April 16, 2018 by slide

F360 Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 Maybe they will release this without all the missiles so the price will not scare people away.
seti88 Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 (edited) lets see...i think the yammie weathered was at August 2010, 24, 990 Yen, YF-19 Isamu Custom Weathering Edition (3rd edition) as per jenius site...so add 8 years..and more tampo....hmmm.... Edited April 30, 2018 by seti88
HardlyNever Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 I think the twitter was asking "where is this?" as in, it was teased a while back (not sure how long ago) and hasn't been seen since. I'm not exactly sure when that pic was originally taken.
