antibiotictab
BTW can't read Japanese, August 2014 for pre-order date or for relese date? The latter.
joppewo
Ouch 21,000 yen. That's about 19500 without the 8% tax I assume? Guess the G won't be reissued with its Tornado parts now then
zzgundam010
21600 yen is a little steep for a bare valkyrie.
Scyla
Well that was unexpected. Hopefully the high MSRP will make the scalpers a bit cautious if they want to invest into this one. So is the price with the 8% sales tax? I assume as much because of the odd-numbered price. So it is 20k Yen without tax and we get like 10% off with HLJ that would be 18k Yen for the YF-30? If someone can get a preorder in without resorting to the inflated prices NY offers. I'm glad we finally get a confirmation that Bandai will release the YF-30. Do we know if it is a regular or web shop exclusive release? Edited April 4, 2014 by Scyla

IXTL
All signs point to regular mass release. There's no Tamashii Webshop logo on the display card.

Sildani
So the Tamashii Nations logo does not automatically mean webshop orders only?
IXTL
So the Tamashii Nations logo does not automatically mean webshop orders only? No. Bandai's collectors toy lines (Chogokins, Figuarts etc.) all come under the Tamashii Nations banner.

yman1437
yeah 21600 yen is steep......is it a really high in demand valk?
jenius
It's a bigger risk so bigger price.
Mechapilot77
can't see a game only valk being that high in demand though i've been known to be wrong....not preordering. i'll wait until it drops in price like the VF-25A did. then again i'm not super into this one...if i was i guess i'd preorder

SaitouSad
finally.. I can't wait to grab these! It being a new mold doesn't help our chances though Hoping to score 2 - 3 of these.Come on, bring out the VF-25S reissue, Bandai! That way I can be finally done with this series.
Scyla
I don't understand why Kawamori opted not to slide the tail fins into the main wing. I think it might have not enough kibble otherwise.

Jasonc
I don't understand why Kawamori opted not to slide the tail fins into the main wing. I think it might have not enough kibble otherwise. I love the design, and will order one, but that's the biggest flaw, complaint I have with this design. The tail fins just bother me to no end. The pilot would need to worry about any gritty fighting, cause if he fell on his back, he's not transforming afterwards and flying out of the combat. Scyla
I agree but on the other hand the VF-17 and YF-21 use their tail fin as bullet proof shields.
HG Blows
Price is kind of steep for a figure that's staying in fighter forever (hating super kibble Battroid). Still, I'll try to get one, and I should be done with Frontier centric valks.
Tking22
That's incredibly ugly in everything but fighter mode, I don't think I'm going to even order one now, maybe a better looking re-paint would change my mind.
Saburo
I'll pick up one or maybe 2...

I would like this design SO much more if the tailfins did... something other than just hang there.
skullmilitia
Gerwalk looks very similar to the bird of prey look of the SV-51's. Pre-order button ready!
Mommar
I love it, I want multiples. I am a bit worried about how the wings will hold up over time though. I hope they lock. Though I wouldn't have them semi-bent like in these photos. I don't feel like they're long enough to work in that bird-of-prey position like the SV-51. I do wish the tail fins could slide up though, I think that's an oversight that affects the way it looks in Battroid.
Chronocidal
Not just battroid, they look ridiculous in fighter mode too. Eh.. I might just wait. I love the fighter mode (mostly), but the other modes are fairly meh (the missile pack is just funky looking). That, plus I'm getting too tired of the preorder shenanigans at this point, and I'm running out of space for new valks (too many VF-19s ). Maybe once it's released it'll be available, since I don't see this really appealing to anyone but gamers, and the odd completionist or aircraft fanatic. valhary
I prefer new valks that repainted no matter how ugly they are

VF-Zer0S
This looks amazing! Not to fond of the missle umbrella but maybe it will grow in me. Hopefully pre orders open next month Getting this and the metal build Laevatien will be quite pricey though

Mommar
Oh hell, I want this now!!!! Been waiting for a 30 for awhile. I think I'll order two. I like all three modes but I don't want a bunch of white and red planes.
