Got cart jacked on amiami. Guess I'll be skipping this release -
Hey guys, wanted to ask (assuming it hasn't been asked as there's a lot of pages to sift through and Googling hasn't yielded any results). Did Hayate's VF-31AX get any armored parts in the movie? Or just the Super Parts and then the Ghost Booster?

i'm not sure how Moducase sells it overseas (understand he sells it through Sideshow). In Singapore where he's based he sells the inner shelves which can be attached to the rack. The're thick though

The only way I can see it working is if you buy the in-display shelves as each case is very tall. If you are displaying most of them in fighter mode, I'd imagine you can do multiple tiers in 1 case itself since it's height adjustable.

I saw the X-Base in Akihabara, but they were too expensive to justify buying. I did get a Chinese knock off version like the Gomo, and they work nicely, but you pretty much have to have the item on the base (that's how it works). But I also noticed the chinese knock off one heats up if you leave it on for too long, so I think it's near for occassionally plugging in, snapping a few shots and that's it. Not as a permanent display. I was thinking of using them on my Valks thrusters

Thanks for answering! I just received the Kawamori designer's note last night (and boy is it a monster of a book. So T H I C C ! ) Good to know that VF linearts are in the VF Design notes. I've had it on order for months, and was wondering if I should cancel it, but I guess I'll keep the order

Does anybody who has this know how it compares to the Macross Variable Fighter Design Notes? (Other than it being much thicker) I guess I'm just wondering if there is any / a lot of content overlap.

welcome to Macross preorder hell. This literally happens almost every Bandai DX Chogokin drop. There were a few exceptions but for the vast majority they were like this.

this round was pretty much as bad as the VF-1S Hilkaru for me. Kept getting either cart jacked or the site just did not load. The only reason I managed to get the Hikaru was because I was in Japan around the release date and managed to snag one from Tamashii Nation itself. I doubt I'll have the same luxury this round, so this whole thing has been extremely frustrating as usual, and I blame Bandai for always allocating so little preorder slots.

They just brought out 3 more boxes. I think word will soon get around and these will disappear once people start coming with their spouses and family to buy extra (dude in front of me bought 1 extra using his gf / wife)

Thank you so much @Lolicon for the info. I lucked out everywhere including Akiba but decided to visit Tamashi Nations anyway I'm paying for 1 right now! Turns out Bic Camera is limiting 1 per customer and they're even asking if the name on the passport and cc are the same (though he didn't seem to check anyway) Also the cashier was a chinese dude (just something I just noticed when another Chinese customer spoke to him asking how many boxes were sold). If any of you are still around Akiba,do consider dropping by to try your luck (also Nagano Broadway is pretty empty and run down now)
