I can't abide this.  The Evolution Toys Legioss were cheaply-manufactured, poorly-made toys, certainly...

...but they were nonetheless they best-looking Legioss we'd ever had, far more accurate than the Gakken, Toynami, Aoshima, or CMs that came before them.

Heck, they still look better than the upcoming Pose+ Legioss does!

My man.  Totally agree.  We had this convo years ago too and my opinion hasn't changed either.  It's the only reason I still have them.  The are missing some detailing but everything that is there is "right" to my eyes. 

I wish the pose+ had their proportions .  I do like the details, size and what looks like quality build of those things... probably gonna cave and get one.

Gotta hand it to the person at Sentinel who did this pose and understood the low camera angle, three-quarter view, and vertical rotation of the wings.

I follow Pose+ and have a couple of their pieces but yeah they do previews 6 months to year out before release. Their Shin Getter line and GaoGaiGar are premium so I’m looking forward to having this as a mostpeada center piece

I haven’t been active on these forums for many years. After the last Mospeada renaissance with the Toynami, CM, Megahouse and Beagle figures I tought my favorite series was done for. For some reason I just decided to come take a peak and damn was surprised to see everything alive and kicking again. I immediately ordered the Sentinel Riobot Legioss and Tread, the full set of Sentinel Riobot ride armors and pre-ordered the pose+ Legioss. I know I’m very late to the party but I’m incredibly stoked to be part of this second wave of Mospeada revival.

Excellent review as usual. Pretty surprised on the limited range of motion on the lower leg, I can only speculate Sentinel wanted to ensure stability with all the heft, moreso when combined with the Legioss on its lap.

One little thing I’m not sure anyone has pointed out yet:  the head of the Tread peaks out just a smidge ever so slightly up in combo mode.  

Not glaringly obvious.  But it’s most likely due to the bomber cockpit being inside the chest for the combo mode.

I scanned this with my MIRACO which is an all-in-one scanner with its own on board post -processing software.  I did the bare minimum of post processing.  I used an aerosol contrast agent on the non-white bits.

Probably have to look at their fine print about tariffs and the such.  And about preorder prices (and if they can change the price due to increased costs on their end).

Totally spitballing and assuming here, but technically, BBTS is bearing the costs of importing and shipping the goods into the US.  Shipping from their warehouse to each customer would be the cost beared by each customer, right?

Whether they decide to pass those additional shipping and tariff costs (getting the goods into the US) onto their customers would be up to them.

Again, total speculation on my part. 🤷‍♂️

Good to know. But I don't even care about the tariff stuff*. I'm just worried about them not getting any Treads, or not getting enough.

BBTS is always one of the last retailers to ship, often months behind the others. But they'll come through.

I wonder if it is going to be true 1/60 scale or what size reference they uses to determine the dimensions. That pilot looks very nice for figure that size considerin it should be a bit smaller that Sentinel pilot figure

If you're buying anything import from an American Shop you're going to be waiting between 1-3 months later than the overseas people.  Their shipments are going to come in bulk by sea to keep costs as low as possible and that takes a lot longer to ship.  It happens with all of them.  USAGundam seems to have some special hookup because they'll get things from Japan faster but BBTS, Entertainment Earth, The Chosen Prime, etc... all have a fairly long lag time.  My Tread's are from Amazon US and it's not scheduled to arrive until October.
