Kyp Durron
I loved the paint scheme on the 1/48 VF-1J stealth, but I've been waiting forever for Yamato to make a 1/60 V2 version. So since it was brought up in the 1/48 VF-1S TV thread, I felt it needed it's own thread here. So, if Yamato decided to make one, would you buy it? I know if they did, I'd be all over it like white on rice! Hell, I might even buy two. -Kyp
Gian
If it comes with super and strike parts, count me in. And if yamato decides to make all those sweet GBP armor variations in urban camo, woodland camo, etc. For 1/60's count me in aswell.
CF18
Reissue the 1S, or make new 1A or 1J are all fine, but I want a stealth super/strike pack to go with it.
Ignacio Ocamica
I would!! So yes, count me in too.
MacrossJunkie
I personally wouldn't bother to buy one or at least it wouldn't be very high up on the "to buy" list. I still need to buy the Hikaru 1J before I would even consider the low vis version. And even then, the up coming current releases supercedes that and they are pretty expensive so that leaves little money left for yet another VF-1 with another paint scheme. eugimon
Yup.
Penguin
Well, I've got all the 1/60 VF-1s except the "weathered" versions, so why not? It wouldn't happen, but it would be sweet if Yamato created a non-canon set of stealth fast packs, maybe inspired by the VF-17's, as a special for such a release. Or, the flip-top missile launcher packs that showed up in the line art sketches for the original VF-X game.
jenius
not interested... I'm done with the v2s.
Uxi
I want them to do both 1A and 1J low-viz. I'd buy a full team of 4 birds.
Fatalist
I want them to do both 1A and 1J low-viz. I'd buy a full team of 4 birds. I second the "want" of a Low Viz scheme, and further approve of a new stealth variant and more variants that are non-cannon.
Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0
Last I checked, robot-kingdom.com had the Stealth VF1J with strike parts in stock for $300+ shipping
Loop
I'd bite, I have all of them except the weathered version in my collection. I really want an Alaska base color scheme though. I'm kinda wondering if the v2 VF-1S Low Vis Roy is the only one they are going to release though. Maybe they will release some other color schemes for the VF-1's during the anniversary. Raptor One
I too would prefer a low-viz version
Vi-RS
The V2 VF-1 is probably the most complete line out there for movie and tv, but I don't see any other custom schemes like they did in 1/48 except the low viz VF-1S.
kamadoma
Yeah, I'd surely go for a Stealth!
Javabean
Yes I would get it, but must come with super parts, please! It must be come as regular release, not some exclusive website whatsoever purchase.
Mog
Nah, I'm perfectly happy with my 1/48 version :
Agent-GHQ
I'll be all over this like flies on $hit$. Lots of potential paint scheme that I'd love to see done for the V2 line Edited November 5, 2011 by Agent-GHQ
Jasonc
Of course I would. I'm just happy that my 4 1/60 kits are coming in from HLJ. 1 of the A, S, and two of the J. Maybe a low-vis there.
anime52k8
I would love one. the Stealth -1J was my first 1/48 purchase, and it would be really cool to have a pair of them in both scales.
raptormesh
Would get one, and it'll be my first VF-1 yammie .
macrossnake
If it has the same paint scheme as 1/48 version, then -Yes.
kanedaestes
I want a low-viz version first.
anime52k8
I want a low-viz version first. but we already got a low visibility 1/60...
Jasonc
I'm not that into that shade of grey they gave the 1S. Personally, I'd pick up a v.1 1/48 low-vis scheme for a 1/60 in a heartbeat. I'm still under the opinion that Yamato should get the license to do the Minmay guard, and redo the low-vis. I know there'd be a lot of people into getting those tow. Oh, and re-release the Max and Milia.
m0n5t3r
w/ SSPs, definitely. didn't like the color of the 1S low-viz they made for the v.2 1/60 (its like they mixed the 1/48 stealth and low-viz colors)... i prefer the color scheme of the VFX... a 1/60 low-viz with the same color scheme as the 1/48 would be hard to say no to, but make it a 1S or 1J. anime52k8
I never fully saw the appeal of the LV1. To me It just looks like a monotone hunk of grey plastic with dark smudges all over it like somebody decided to handle the toy after doing a large charcoal drawing. I understand that it's a more realistic scheme than those seen in the show proper but it's Just so boring. if they had given it some sort of contrasting stripes and markings or used a multi-tonal grey camouflage I'd find it much more appealing, but as it is I just don't like it. Kyp Durron
Either way, other than re-issues, the only other thing for Yamato to do with the mold is to start making non cannon paint schemes. A 1/60 version of Yamato's limited 1/48 Low Vis would also be nice. I'd still rather have the Stealth scheme made first, though. -Kyp Edited November 6, 2011 by Kyp Durron
Gian
It'd be cool if the low viz paint scheme were like the special forces squad's EX gear armor in Macross F - Sayonara no Tsubasa
Omegablue
Yes I would buy it!!! Though it must be the 1J!!! Not the 1S and not the 1A. As well I would also go for the 1A low vis!!! Yamato???
derex3592
I'd go for a cannon fodder 1A in low vis i guess.
CF18
So we are talking about 3 options: Low vis v1, Low vis v2 and Stealth. For the released versions, the Stealth 1J got the best attention to detail - even the UUM-7 missile box got matching color.
