Alex GS Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Guess Lion Voltron is not for me, I missed the PO mayhem yesterday I didn't realize it was that day the start of it, will see if I can get one at BBTS
Dobber Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Shoot, I didn’t know it was a preorder Maher thing either....or that it was going up for pre-order already too. Chris
Mog Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Yeah, I just lucked out vegging on the boards last night.

No, the only lions that can pull off that pose are the Yellow and Blue lions from the Toynami Ultimate EX. And it’s black lion can do a decent sit as well but not as good as the other two. It’s a great piece even though it’s Toynami.
kanedaestes Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Actually it gets close. Bandai did their beat to make all the lion be able to sit and have great individual articulation

Bandai did their beat to make all the lion be able to sit and have great individual articulation Making the lions able to sit like dogs was apparently a primary engineering goal, since it is iconic. They didn't say it, but I suspect also because the rest of the engineering is child's play(it isn't THAT diffrent from the original toy).

nightmareB4macross Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 I always thought it was a red laser pointer.
edstuff Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 Ugh I've been waiting and hoping for a reissue. Even emailed bandai. Which was pointless. And I'm just now seeing there was one. And I missed it
kanedaestes Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 You didn’t miss it. It hasn’t been released yet. Will be in the summer
Killaforevah Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 Anyone knows which US retailers will be carrying this? Other than BBTS
Dobber Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 Well, we kind of did miss it as it is sold out everywhere. Stupid Bandai pre-order madness. Chris

Other than BBTS No listings in the following US based e-tailers, yet, but they do carry Bandai GX items and they did sell the original release of Voltron.: https://www.entertainmentearth.com/ http://www.eknightmedia.com/ I'm sure there are others.

mechaninac Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 As curious as I am about this GX from a toy engineering and execution point of view, and that's the only reason I'd buy a Voltron figure as it holds no nostalgia, or even aesthetic, appeal to me otherwise, I just can't justify its cost. I can't remember, but was the original release also retailing, at US e-tailers, for $299.99?

sh9000 Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 I’m glad that I’ll have a Lion Voltron and Vehicle Voltron in my collection.
Dangard Ace Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 No one should be without the majestic GoLion/Voltron lions. Glad some of you guys got in on him. To whet your appetite
Sam Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 Ffs. Bandai, you suck. This happened the first time, thought i would get lucky the 2nd time, but... no. Who does it benefit not making enough to supply those who want to buy? I guess I'll support KO makers on this one, so disappointing.
