Just because it didn't actually happen doesn't mean POSE+ can't fleece you for a sword accessory! 😅 Came here to ask when did it ever have a sword after seeing it on Taghobby moments ago. Thanks for clearing it. Quote

Mog Posted August 16 Posted August 16 So, I tried adjusting the stand without loosening the screws first. . . Don’t be an impatient moogle : Superglue and baking soda time. Quote
jenius Posted August 16 Posted August 16 (edited) Sorry for your loss and appreciate the warning. The display stand is probably the weakest part of this release... hoping @BroTaku79 comes through with a better option for us. Edited August 16 by jenius Quote
Chronocidal Posted August 16 Posted August 16 I wonder how difficult it would be to just unscrew the upper pivot, and replace that topmost segment with a solid metal nut and bolt. Quote

Right? I'm not a firm believer in super glue's shear strength, even with baking soda reinforcement. Quote

Don’t be an impatient moogle : Superglue and baking soda time. Is that stand from the new Tread or from your Zeta? You would think that after hearing of several reports of this and some even requesting for a replacement part, Sentinel would reinforce this part of the stand or maybe even totally change the way the Legioss is mounted in fighter mode. Edited August 17 by m0n5t3r Quote
Mog Posted August 17 Posted August 17 It’s the attachment for the Tread part, but the stand is originally from the Zeta (because it was a little stronger). I am putting it at an extreme angle. And I should have loosened the screws first. So, one factor for the breakage is: 😅 Quote

It quenches my thirst. A couple of them were sold on eBay around U.S.$600- 800. Edited August 17 by Masked Aviator Quote
Mog Posted August 17 Posted August 17 (edited) Superglue and baking soda didn’t want to hold. Had to step up to plastic bonder. Took two three* rounds (and some patience from my idiot self) but seems to be holding 🤞🏽. * The extreme angle needed for the Detolf required a third application. 🫤 Edited August 17 by Mog Quote
jenius Posted August 17 Posted August 17 (edited) There were so many better ways they could have spent that budget. (Referring to the Pose+ wing opening gimmick and fake struts). Edited August 17 by jenius Quote

Legioss and ride armors all work with them, but since I don't have my tread yet, I can't test... Quote

I’ll print you a new one as soon as my legioss arrives - next month, I believe. Quote

Value depends on each person individually. I'm still, permanently, kicking myself for one toy/collectible from 15 years ago that I passed on because the price was more than it was worth... but now I'd gladly pay that price. That said, I paid the original asking price on Toynami's site, which was the upper end of what it's worth, in my opinion (with shipping and tax, a little under double the price of the original green one). To me, that was still worth it. $600+, though? I don't think it's worth that. Quote

The gimmicks are, like @jenius said, things they spent money on that adds no value in my eyes but added cost that could have been better spent elsewhere. When I'm looking at $525 shipped at the cheapest site I'm finding, I just can't justify it to myself so far. Will I kick myself later? Probably not. But I have reopened the link multiple times and started a PO, only to close it a short time later. Quote

Not quite right; you pay when the item is released and your order is filled. Quote

Graham Posted August 19 Posted August 19 I ordered directly from Pose+. Had to pay in full up front, but including shipping was only USD 440. but as I'm in Hong Kong and I guess it's gonna be shipping from mainland China, shipping was only about 10 bucks. Quote
