Other than KC (once they finally release them)? Granted, the scale is 1/72 instead.

Pinning is taking awhile on this one. There aren’t any clear connection points on this old recast so it’s a huge learning experience for me. There is going to be plenty of areas that need cleaning up and gaps to fill. Some small tips of pieces came broken in the box so I am attempting to reattach and sculpt them using some CA glue and baking soda. Hope it works. Also structurally this thing is very back heavy with the wings so I need to make sure when the time comes that the feet are securely attached to some sort of base or this thing will never stand in its own. It’s still early on but I’m excited for this build. It’s my first figure build too which may lead to others. For those who build resin kits on here what’s your go to for gap filler putty? Also any preference on CA glue type or epoxy?

Arcadia YF-19 Re-Issue and new Premium Finish

Odd, they had no issues shipping my replacement SV-51 legs to a Tenso address. Though I think it helped that I messaged them in Japanese as well. -
Got a good giggle from this bit of news. Maybe the younger generation are realizing the "You own nothing and will be happy"-motto doesn't work for the long term. Especially in light of subscription fee increases and removal from streaming libraries. DVDs are the new vinyl records: Why Gen Z is embracing physical media (LA Times via Yahoo News)

It's 'Carnival' Spelled backwards. Started looking at book titles in HS for a D&D name for an elf. Later became a vampire character on Multi User Dungeon for 15 yrs. -

It's been a while, but I'm nearly done with the build, I have everything assembled and just need to do some touch ups and some more oil weathering on the wings. The oil paints got a little bit away from me in some places, but I'm happy with the results for my first go at it. With my 1/72 Final Countdown F-14A for scale. -
Yeah, that'd be great. They're probably afraid of Bandai's lawyers. Given the decades of Harmony Gold's questionable shenanigans, Big West don't seem to be as litigious. It'd be great if more legit companies sought a Macross license: Sentinel, Pose+, LEGO (personal wishlist), Moderoid, Toyrise, just off the top of my head. I'd love to see the day when Macross overtakes Gundam, but, yeah, I'm dreaming. That'd be my ideal reality, though- every retail store stocked to the gills with tons of Macross toys form numerous manufacturers spanning the roster from obscure mecha like the M7 variable Police Vehicle, the Octos, the Variable Glaug to perennial favorites like the VF-1 (eat it HG!), the VF-25, and the YF/VF-19. Hopefully the next Macross installment whips up some popularity for the brand globally with some decent advertising and press to interest the uninitiated as well as old timers. A strong surge of popularity might induce other companies to take a gamble on the license, and further HG's journey into obscurity in the process. There's still a sizeable roster of Macross mecha that has never received a model or toy and I'd love to see that list get shorter.

Yup zero plan looks abit oversized. Anyways both of these 3rd party heads can be used on MB Hi-Nu with a bit of mods Wish i didnt have to go this route if the MB Hi-Nu head was somewhat true to the OA design, which was somewhat present in metal robot and RG grade designs

The Tornado Hobby head looks nice on the MB HiNu body (they did go a bit heavy handed with the panel lining in contrast to the MB body). The Zero Plan head looks nice in its own way too, but looking at the pic where its mounted on a body I realized it (the head) looked off and then also realized the body wasn't the MB HiNu body, but probably a different 3rd party kit body (I think the Tiger or the Yujioland Hi-Nu).

An interesting garage kit is being offered, If you build the 1/24 Wave kits, it's: Armored Cavalry Bottoms 1/24 Resin Cast Model Philfi Kokoshnik (Resale) RC Berg's featured items "Armored Cavalry Bottoms 1/24 Resin Cast Model Filfi Kokoshnik (Resale)" and "Armored Cavalry Bottoms Resin Cass" are being accepted for reservations on the character & Hobby mail order site Amiami Introducing 2 products of "Assembly Kit 1/24 High Detail Skirt Armor Kit for Scope Dog"! Not really sure what OVA it's from might be Merowlink!? but its an interesting add on! but you have to paint it! Id love here to sit on my Hi-Metal R Scopedog too.... 🤗

Agree with the observations listed. I too do not quite like the design of this custom Hi Nu head Came across two other interpretations of the Hi-Nu gundam head, Tornado Hobby which is quite close to that of the OA, RG and Metal Robot design and another by Zero Plan, which is an improvement but the details looks rather busy

Hey @treatment, I tried asking very nicely however they made it clear to me having a Japanese forwarding address such as Tenso for parts support will not work either. Well that’s all she wrote folks, you break it you buy it my friends.
-
Ouch! That's quite unfortunate turn of events. They do indeed will not ship parts outside of Japan, but they can ship to a jp-address forwarding service like Tenso. That said, something must've really changed either at Arcadia or Tenso or something else for Arcadia Customer Service to not to be able to use a forwarding service anymore. Must be another shipping side-effect of the T-Virus even tho you're in Canada...

I would love it if somehow 3rd party Transformers companies were able to make HMR Valkyrie variants and Destroids that Bandai won't release.
