I think it was determined that they do not work. More importantly, I want to know if the Bandai hands fit on Yamato. 50 minutes ago, gerwookie said: I like the lighting on this one. Nice! Thanks! Kuma Style Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 I think I told you elsewhere but great shots @Slave IV

If you gently use a file to enlarge the openings of the yamato missiles they fit just fine. See comparison Yammy Missiles Bandai Missiles Edited October 1, 2019 by Duymon
Lolicon Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 What a badly built toy. If you remove a bunch of screws it just falls apart!

nathans82 Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 I'm happy with my VF-1A, now bring on VF-1 Hayao, VF-1S Roy, VF-1J M&M.

Slave IV Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Just curious, has anyone had the wrong shoulder joint issue on their 1A? It doesn't seem very widespread at all but good to know about.

Nice! --------------------------- @gerwookie I don't know. It's currently on the shelf and it'll be a bit before I'm up for pulling it down and messing with it. I'll follow up later tonight if no one else answers.

spanner Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Looks like NY are sending my three items separately ffs.. the Max was first to be sent on its way. Kinda irritating.

Honestly, I think this might be the only Bandai Macross product that can be taken this far apart on purpose.
jenius Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Mine updated from showing the 4th as the expected date received to the 14th.

HardlyNever Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Got mine from AJ today. Packaging was pretty lackluster; no packing materials, and the tape was coming open on one side of the box. The valk box was just kind of sliding around in there... Contents seems fine, though. I'll have a chance to open it up and check it out later tonight.

They look like Gundam kits from the early 1980s. I personally think they both look gorgeous. To me the legs look better on the 1/60, while the knees and intake area take the price for the Bandai 1/48. You can't beat the amount of tampo on the 1/48, but with a little patience you can get close with stickers on the 1/60. I prefer the feet on thw 1/60 as well. BTW is that just a seam on the Bandai, or is it the foot design. Good panel lining & weathering on the 1/60 @Lolicon!
sh9000 Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 Picked up my first one. Can’t wait to put it in some poses.
DYRL VF-1S Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 My second Max and another missile set were delivered today from NY. They stuffed it with this interesting flyer. Lol.

I think it's just rando newspaper advertisements for some electronics-related stuff. NY packing is really rando. Most of my packages from NY come in nice green bubblewrap , but once in a while it gets packed with JP newspaper stuff which is always a surprise.
