HOLY FARKING SCHNITT!! That looks AWESOME. Looks like that stone or gem thingy grants a person their greatest desire? So Dianna gets Steve back, Kristin Wig’s character becomes desirable, Villain gets what he wants ect. Man I hope it is as good as it looks. Loved the first one.

Oh good, another movie that brings a dead character back thus reducing the stakes in the story to nearly zero. Movies without stakes are weak.

There's a plot leak out in the wild. Don't know how much of it is real or how much has changed but...

That crystal rock-thing that Maxwell Lord is playing is a magical item that grants desires but at a cost. Diana's wish is for a normal life with Steve at that moment (The whole "Have you ever been in love?"-scene in the trailer.) So while it brings Steve to life, her price is the lost of her powers. Kristin Wigg's Barbara Minerva is suppose to be dorky, timid, forgettable but personable which is why Diana and her are having a friendly cafe chat. But she wishes is to be as desirable as Diana..well, a cougar (no, not the animal). Her penchant for the cheetah-skin clothes plays into her becoming...Cheetah, when she desires to be as strong and predatory. So yes, we will see a full makeup-Cheetah. CG etc all, at the end during the final fight. Max's wish is power, of course.
