Dynaman Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Had this been the trailer, my reaction would have been totally different. It's still Paul Feig, so I'm skeptical, but this looks much better. Much much better, the sad part is that editing often makes or breaks a movie (often terribly so) and a fan did a far better trailer in less than a day, with footage only available from the publicly available footage...
Dobber Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Fancut of the trailer. So much better. That was much better. Chris
Mommar Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 The "fan edit" is just to cut out all of the bad "nerd acting."
Hikuro Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 yeah but that made my interest perk a bit then I remembered the first trailer and cringed again.

areaseven Posted March 5, 2016 Author Posted March 5, 2016 This is an old video, but still hilarious.

Negotiator Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 I liked other movies from that director so I'm keeping an open mind.
Vepariga Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 Looks terrible as expected. nothing against the actors its just...bad.
Einherjar Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Oh, it's a reboot and not a sequel. Stupid trailer.
danth Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Not sure why everyone is suddenly the trailer police. Looks like a good movie to me. Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, and Kate McKinnon are all awesome. Paul Fieg hasn't let me down yet. Although I am disappointed that the black character is a total stereotype.
technoblue Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 I'm willing to give this one a chance. If, for no other reason, then to see how the new Ghostbusters set up shop in a Chinese restaurant. Stantz: "This magnificent feast here represents the last of the petty cash." Venkman: "Hey, slow down. Chew your food."

renegadeleader1 Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 International trailer... It actually makes the film look worse and more obnoxious.
areaseven Posted March 10, 2016 Author Posted March 10, 2016 Here's a much better effort. And it only cost $3,000 to produce.
danth Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 International trailer... It actually makes the film look worse and more obnoxious. Looks great actually. Can't wait for this movie!
Nightbat Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Gotta admit,... I haven't cringed this much since Robocop 3 and that was a FULL movie, not just a Trailer
technoblue Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Tough crowd. I thought the international trailer was a better cut than the U.S. trailer. I haven't watched SNL recently, but I like how the new Ghostbusters is a parallel to the old having sketch comedians in lead roles. It's too bad there isn't something like SCTV on anymore, because that was also a good source for talent.
Tking22 Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 International trailer was a little better, still sitting at the wait and see phase, I like the cast but that first reveal trailer was awful.
Mommar Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 International trailer... It actually makes the film look worse and more obnoxious. The only thing I can say about this trailer is that Chris Hemsworth, the one who ISN'T a supposed comedian, can deliver a joke better than the other four put together. Still looks like a terrible Ghostbusters movie.

Still looks like a terrible Ghostbusters movie. Which joke and how was his deliver better?
Mommar Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Which joke and how was his deliver better? When he offered to make the boobs on the logo bigger. It was matter of fact and didn't feel like a forced character trait like all four of the women do.
danth Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 When he offered to make the boobs on the logo bigger. It was matter of fact and didn't feel like a forced character trait like all four of the women do. I thought that was the weakest joke of the trailer.
no3Ljm Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 International trailer... It actually makes the film look worse and more obnoxious. Will just wait for iTunes rental or when they put it in the $0.99 category.
myk Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Someone showed that international trailer to me and I thought it was a joke; yeah I think it looks that bad. So is this the latest fad in Hollywood? Instead of just reimagining old films and franchises like Star Trek and Mad Max, we're going to crap all over them and then slap their historical greatness in the face with garbage like this? And I don't care if this is a reboot or a sequel; it's just BAD. This makes Ghostbusters II look like a freakin masterpiece of film and theater...
Duke Togo Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 Take this with a grain of salt. "4chan" Yeah, no
sh9000 Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 If I get several free Redbox codes in the future, I might use one to rent this movie because it doesn't even look worth a $1.64 rental.
sh9000 Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Just ordered this cool 80's shirt that comes with a free Ghostbusters Domo. Nice.
