yeah that is my issue, she agreed to let me get the YF-19 next year, but that blue is just awesome, ugh, why do I have to be a responsible dad?!...

Even if the VF-19 was marked down to $100 I wouldn't get it, my sights (and money) are all locked on the YF-19 much like everyone else.

If they had the F model for near the same discount, I'd jump on it; I already have the S, and couldn't care any less for the Fire Valk.

Id go for it if they had the P. I regret not grabbing that.

The P scheme is nice. I wish it also came with a Zolan gummy pilot as an alternate to the not-quite-Basara gummy.

19s finally arrived. Other than a slightly loose codpiece, everything is perfect. glad I grabbed him up.

I have a loose cod piece on one of my VF-19F's, I never really looked into how to tighten it up yet. It was the only one that had that problem out of 8 19's that I own.

It's not that bad. I put a small dab of pure silicone grease in the hinge. Stays up without issue now.

I tried doing this on my VF-19S but the codpiece still folds down after some time, any suggestions?

After reading this the blue pill comes to mind :p

Excellent!

Aren't the glossy valks harder to keep paint adherence?

Could always rough up the surface with some light grit sand paper.

Looks amazing... so tempted to try a custom of my own- except I'm always worried I'll stuff it up. Can't afford to make mistakes when you only have one.
