Agree, the Jolly Rogers looks kinda odd here.

What threw me off more from the in-hand pics are the colors. I was expecting to see dark, low-vis, gunmetal-type shades as per the single image put out by Toynami earlier, but now it’s just a light blue color.

Sweet Jesus.  There’s capitalism/free market…and then there’s this BS.  It’s not unlike the 1/55 M&Ms going for ~$500 a piece a couple years back.  It’s the same nonsense.  As with the 1/55 M&Ms, I’ll wait (hope?) for the inevitable(?) reissue of Hunter’s cyclone.  Or mod one myself.

I haven’t been following the tariff sitch and hadn’t even considered it.  I wonder if distribution is being expedited in order to avoid canceled/problematic orders.

I got an email from HobbyLink Japan earlier this week stating that there could be a flat rate $80 minimum fee for packages going to the United States depending on the country of origin.

 

I have no clue how this is going to work as the buyer normally pays the tariffs.  I hope we don't get stuck paying tariffs fees twice for items.

Tread is really impressive. Love the engineering. Effective and clean. Sturdy build. Connection with Legioss is much better than the Toynami or the CMs. Can even have tread in soldier mode combined with Legioss in fighter mode without any support.

That’s crazy. Toynami said they will have second wave of sale. I don’t believe they will not re-issue, now that they already modified the printing and colour.

Typically the importer is who is required to pay, which means the shippers in this case- HLJ is probably collecting the fee since the shipper is asking for it as part of shipping payment.

Afaik/read Toynami has not said anything about a second wave of sale. On the website listing (since taken down)/email update they stated the remaining orders would ship end of August/beginning of September. Posts on fb groups mentioned only the first two days of orders (100 each day, Wednesday Preview night, and Thursday) were the first to go out, orders placed Friday, Sat and Sunday were end of August/beginning of Sept, totaling the 500 units.

It would be nice and hopefully Toynami will open up another set/batch of orders maybe for NYCC if they make an appearance there.

It's just confusing semantics, it's limited to 500 units. The second wave is the last 300 units that are shipping in September.

Ask yourself this? How bad do you really need it? Lets be honest, once you get, you'll play and admire it for a week, and then your attention will be on the next thing, and 20 things later, it will be well forgotten to the point of an ordinary vase in your home.

I was once at that point. Mainly with Bandai lines. Still remeber the day I regretted not trying to get the VF-1D. I don't want to remember how much I paid for it.

You better get it now or pay awful over priced second market.

For those who have ordered the Pose+ Legioss (or have been looking into doing so), any rundown of options to purchase from?

BBTS is my go-to, even if it takes them a while to get stuff in, because they gave me amazing customer service years back and basically won my business going forward.

That said, they look to be about $100+ more than some smaller sellers that I've never heard of before.

Does anyone have a sense of, among reputable sellers, where the best deals are, including shipping and anticipated tariffs to the US?
