Rabidweezil
However.....IF the door slid ALLL the way open to one side or the other it would be great. IT DOESN'T. It only goes not even half way each direction. Which makes arranging your toys a BITCH! Not to mention getting the SDF-1 IN THE DAMN THING in the first place...you must have VERY steady hands and lots of patience!!! That's why I said I take the door off mine :-)
Benson13
I could see myself removing the door, setting up my display, and while remounting the door, I go full retard bump it sending all my valks tumbling out of the cabinet in flames like they're Kakizaki. Jefuemon
Redid my model display a little bit. These are all but 2 of the Macross kits I've built so far. All are 1/72 scale.
DarrinG
Excellent display, so clean. It just begs to be walked over to and looked at more closely. IMO, when you keep space between each piece it makes them look more important, and more interesting. The human eye is not strained to decipher where one mecha starts and the other stops. ESPECIALLY for non-macross or scifi fans who do not know the designs like we do. If you get more kits get another display...
Jefuemon
If you get more kits get another display... Oh. I've got the kits, don't worry about that! I just don't have the room for more display cabinets. (doublecheck my location to see why)

treatment
heh! so we gotta include a Rei figure now whenever we show off our Macross collection display, eh? not that there's anything wrong with that. thanx alot, kamadoma.
anime52k8
OK...saw another Rei fig (which IS a good one). Time to take a count as to how many of us have 'em. I have something like a dozen or so. Rei in Minmay cosplay? I've only got one and it's the same one. I got it not because it's Rei but because it's a Shunya Yamashita figure. Wasabi-san
"Where's Wald...err...Minmay?" OT: We have at least a couple more Rei figs in a box in storage...like the little 5"(?) purple yukata with fan fig, and the policewoman uniform handcuffed to a pole fig. Kanedas Bike
Inspired by all of the amazing collections and pictures figured I would post a few quick snaps of my Macross Frontier collection. These are all Bandai Renewals (sold off 99.99% of my v1's). Apologies if the pics are grainy, taken and posted by tablet. Enjoy! -b.
miriya
Aw, Alternators/Binaltech Shockblast/Shockwave is so cute! Me want! Are you having a hard time with dusting? Yeah! I love shockwave. All the alternators binaltechs are rad. As for dusting, I have not had a girlfriend for two years... and... what other excuses do I have? Ummmm... as stated previously it is my special weathering technique... yeah.
Scyla
Hm... that weathering technique sounds intriguing. I might adapt it. But on the other hand.... ...a few years ago I disassembled all my Lego models and cleaned every single brick with water before I reassembled them... ...I'm not sure I can silence the Mr. Clean voice in my head. Kicker773
Did some unboxing tonight..luckily I stayed away from the drunk friends who were eying my Roy shot glass inside the display case. Asking me "is that shot glass special? why the hell is it in there?" LOL Framed some miscellaneous stuff Dryboard velcroed and can be taken down easily if I need to get into the magical closet spacefold
Benson13
Wow, Kicker. I got nothin to say about those pics. Keep the drunks away from that room at all costs.
Kicker773
Bastid wanted to open the case and test out the shot glass earlier. Hopefully I get to pick up my framed signed poster from the frame shop tomorrow...I don't even know where I'm slapping that onto.
Benson13
There's a small pocket at the base of the neck where you can stick one or two fingers and works as a great pressure point. However, try not to push more than three inches down or the flesh starts to tear and permanent damage occurs. Try using that to keep them away.
