EDIT: Don't know why i didn't look in the Hall of Super Topics for the old "Display Your Collection" thread, but i just found it and thought i'd link it finally: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=18562&hl Enjoy more collection pics!! ORIGINAL POST: I did some searching for a thread dedicated to just showing off entire Macross collections and displays and there were only a few threads with individuals posting only their collection. Or there were collection pics hidden in other threads about display cases or toy pictures. I love to see how people display their toys so here's a new thread where everyone can participate to share their collections. This is a new dedicated thread for people to show off ONLY pictures of their Macross Collection Displays. You can post pictures of how you display them whether it's in a cabinet, glass displays, book cases, whole rooms, etc. NO pictures of individual toys since there is already a thread for that. Lets see all our Macross collections in 1 place! I'll start by showing off a section of my rearranged Macross toys in my custom detolf cabinet displays. I'm still working on rearranging the rest of the room so i'll post those later. 1/48 displays I also recently purchased mini acrylic display signs so i can label my collection for fun. need to make them for the rest of my displays and i'll post them later. This was my old display room circa summer 2009, but i'll post updated pics soon

I just took my original 2008 Bandai VF-25 Messiah out of it's box for the first time in about 7 years. Things have not gone so well inside the box... This is the original Messiah, not the Renewal DX version. I had it on a shelf out of direct sunlight for about 3 or 4 months back in late 2009, and it's been its box ever since. The last time I saw it, I was dismayed by a slight difference in the whiteness of the nose-cone area. I took it out to zoom around the living room yesterday and was pleasantly surprised! The industrious mimsy's that live in my closet decided to give it a touch up. Turning the Messiah over, I was treated to an more yellowy goodness: Even the interiors of the wheel wells were not safe from the yellowy hands of time:

Mine is definitely VF-25, especially Ozuma's Armored VF-25, closely followed by YF-19 (though the picture is that of my VF-19) It cost me some pretty pennies to get the VF-25 renewal+their armor/super packs, but I don't regret the purchase haha.

I dont know where else to put this so I'll just drop it here. Mods, feel free to relocate.. Found some news about the 30th Anniversary Event, including a 1/1 Messiah!! "The Macross 30th anniversary projects website announced on Friday that a 1/1-scale model of a VF-25F Messiah Valkyrie variable fighter (in the intermediate GERWALK mode) will appear at the 30th Anniversary Macross Super Dimension Exhibition ~Valkyrie de Sasotte!~ event from April 28 to May 6. The website also announced that a real-life Miss Macross 30″ contest, a stage musical with new material, and a museum display of the franchises designs are being planned. The 30th Anniversary exhibition will take place at the Sunshine City complex in Tokyos Ikebukuro district from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Super Dimension Fortress Macross television series the first anime in the Macross franchise premiered in 1982, and this year marks the mecha franchises 30th anniversary. The exhibition will also feature a recreation of the concert scenes of the Macross Frontier characters Sheryl Nome and Ranka Lee, as well as a legendary songstress. Cosplay will be allowed at the exhibition, but there will be a 500-yen (about US$6) fee to use a provided changing room. A variety of commemorative goods will also be available for purchase at the event. Regular advance tickets will go on sale on March 17 and cost 1,000 yen (about US$12), while admission will cost 1,300 yen (US$16) at the door. A commemorative towel will be bundled with advance and at-the-door tickets sold for 2,000 yen (US$24) and 2,300 yen (US$28), respectively. All attendees will also receive a commemorative neck strap. The separate Macross 30th Anniversary Exhibition Macross: The Design exhibit will feature Macross art from Minmay to Sheryl and Ranka from April 26 to May 13 at the Shibuya Parco art gallery in Tokyo.
