Ignacio Ocamica Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Got one preordered through ishop2go. Too awesome scheme to let it pass.
Ignacio Ocamica Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 There's a high chance that HLJ will carry it, but I don't want to miss this one, so I went ahead and preordered with ishop2go.
dreadpyrat Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 I'm surprised its not up on Hobby Search or AmiAmi yet either...No doubt one of them will have it cheaper than iShop2Go.
Loop Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Is the release date set? Just wanted to know if I had some time to wait on HLJ or AmiAmi. I once ordered from ishop2go, but they did not have the item in stock. It took them a week just to check stock then it took 2 weeks to get refunded. I tend to get the feeling they will take your money without the item even being in stock. I have not placed an order with them since though, so maybe it was just a one time thing.
Archer Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Will this be coming with the option parts that the VF-1D reissue and VF-1J reissue are coming with?
Mechapilot77 Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 wow got to say i like the color scheme on this. hopefully amiami or hlj puts it on preorder.
jvmacross Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Has this valk been verified that it is not some GA magazine exclusive?
Vi-RS Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 More official pictures from Yamato: http://www.yamato-toys.com/items/detail.php?gid=2010
Old Man Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 (edited) *Sigh*...still no preorders at HLJ or AmiAmi . Edited March 23, 2012 by Old Man
IXTL Posted March 23, 2012 Author Posted March 23, 2012 Wow! What a beauty! So tempted but I'll probably have to pass in favor of other valks coming out later this year.
jenius Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 Does that say it's dropping in May 2012? I would hope we'll see preorders soon.
Ignacio Ocamica Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 More official pictures from Yamato: http://www.yamato-to...il.php?gid=2010 It's still a painted white valk full of scratches but great to see this scheme from different angles. I wonder how the final VF-1A Cavaliers will look like. Thanks for the link.
Vi-RS Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 It's still a painted white valk full of scratches but great to see this scheme from different angles. I wonder how the final VF-1A Cavaliers will look like. Thanks for the link. Yes, almost all "official" pictures released by Yamato on vf-1 in the past are painted, but I am positive that all their final products with plastic moulded in colors look identical with the pictures they released. It'd be too late to take pictures from production test run samples for advertisement these days.
Jasonc Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 Looks great so far. Definite buy if they don't markup the hell out of it.
pud333 Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 Easy pass. The colour scheme just doesn't do anything for me.
CF18 Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 Good news is no mention of any limited release, so it is a general market release at regular 9800yen price. Bad news is no mention of side covers and B mode seat.
usagiz Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 (edited) It's on!?! http://www.hlj.com/product/YMT00230 http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=TOY-RBT-2309&page=top (null) Edited March 26, 2012 by usagiz
charger69 Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 $101 at anime-export http://www.anime-export.com/product/8824 Thank me later for your $5
Valkyrie2008 Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Anyone done business with Biginjap, they seem to have the lowest price.
Chronocidal Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 I don't think it's that attractive really for it to become that much of a collectors item. I mean, sure it's nice to see, but I don't care for the scheme myself. The low-vis was a rarity because it wasn't something anyone expected to see, and people love doing all the time on customs. This one.. no one expected it because it's so obscure, but I've also never seen a custom of this scheme, so I can't imagine it's that popular.
caslon Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Hobbysearch seems cheaper..... HobbySearch always cheaper than HLJ but I prefer HLJ's service:)
jvmacross Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 (edited) Will this become the next Low Viz 1/48? Probably....or like the more recent 1/60 stealth VF-1S......never to be re-released again...... Anyway, I will buy any new varient of the classic VF-1....bring on the Alaska Guard next........or the rest of the "unseen" SDF-1 squadrons....... ....perhaps if the "cavaliers" sells well, we will get to buy the rest of them....... Mechapilot77 Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 (edited) been a while since i ordered anything from the regula vendors (amiami hlj etc). out of the available preorders, do any of them let you pay upon shipment or are they all pay up front (amiami, hlj)? i know bbts is pay on shipment but they are at $165 or so. Valkyrie23 Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Got my preorder in at AmiAmi. What a refreshing change of pace from the VF-171, YF-29 and DYRL LE pre order madness!
charger69 Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Got my preorder in at AmiAmi. What a refreshing change of pace from the VF-171, YF-29 and DYRL LE pre order madness! I've found peace with VF-1
