  4. These recent pics pushed me over the edge - couldn't resist any longer --preorder in! I would love to see Hasegawa release an in scale TV Milia figure like they did with the Movie version!
  5. ego, 111@Cheese3 It's great to see that old variation set get some love! @505thAirborne That is a BEAUTIFUL mod to the TREAD AND the combo together! It would be cool if you could get or make the big disruptor cannon for it. @derex3592 Your photoetch is looking clean. At least it's not 1/700th scale!😁 @Thom I pray everything has been sorted out in your gut! - MT @pengbuzz So, how did the fair go? I saw an AWESOME P-3 some kid did in Lego, complete with interior operator's stations! The only unrealistic things were the skeleton and storm trooper headed pilots!🤣 Even the crew were in flight suits! - MT
  6. Definitely a lot of people. I was kinda thinking it too when the Queadluun Rau kit for the movie was out and plamax had their Max 1A coming. I had a feeling that Hasegawa would do the tv version, especially since they had done three different colors of the movie one. Can’t wait to get the tv version and set up a display
  7. That's what I'm saying. They're really pushing towards the more insipid parts of season 3. First 2 seasons were more for the entire family. Disney might be spending more money on CGI characters and special effects but I'm in this trailer I'm not seeing any cinematic cinematography. Whole trailer is just giving me vibes of a made for TV movie.
  8. Early Nissan CVTs had some recalls and mechanics hate working on them. That being said CVTs are still being used in new cars but are apparently much improved too.
  9. Yup, where the budget was obviously cut a bit was the number of extras and the limited size of the sets due to the use of the zone, it looked great but limited movement.
  10. Looks like a lot of people are thinking what you’re thinking! This was on the Hobby Search twitter page.
  11. Yesterday
  12. I've heard stories about Nissan's CVT issues, but I had a 2017 Maxima I drove (hard) until this year. Had absolutely no issues with it, it remains one of the best cars I've owned.
  13. the good news is, the Z doesn't use a CVT, it uses a traditional 9spd Automatic like the Frontier and there's been no issues with it. There actually hasn't been any issues with the Z right now that I've been made aware of at work compared to something like the Kicks, Rogue and Altima, which the Altima is going kapootz end of this year and had a TERRIBLE CVT. Since mine is a 6spd Manual I really haven't had any solid issues to contend with. I do need to take it in for a e-brake cable adjustment that's about it.
  14. Finally got to actually watch it since it went on max or whatever it’s called. Not really great and not really bad, definitely better than the Snyder movie, but not as good as Superman Returns. Oddly I think returns is not a great movie either, but is still the best of the new millennium of Superman movies. This particular movie has that feeling of a tv show that someone recommended to you after the first season ended and your trying to figure out all the stuff you missed before in the previous season. Nothing is really unexplained or difficult to figure out, just that it feels like you missed everything that really made it good and now you’re jumping into a rushed story for a show that just got canceled. Maybe skipping his overdone origin was a huge mistake. Definitely skipping lex’s origin was a massive mistake. We just end up with a guy that wants to kill Superman for something or something whatever. Nothing really feels important because all the really important stuff already happened and now we’re just in a resolution for an entire film. The jokes were a bit heavy, but I just feel like lack of plot was the biggest problem here. Lex also seemed to be very inefficient with his thinking. He has to have bot monkeys when he easily could’ve just set up simple chat gpt bots. And his employees didn’t seem like they were evil enough to sign on for this kind of project. Also everyone has to have their hatred of Superman explained and most just don’t even seem to even hate him. Like there really was no motivation here. I’ve also grown really tired of nanobot machines creating complex mechanics out of nothing. That’s something that had grown boring over a decade ago in movies. I don’t even know why she hated Superman and I don’t even remember her name because she was totally forgettable. Maybe one day a great Superman movie will come along, but I guess we’ll just have to wait for another reboot in a decade or so. So far the best one was the first one with Christopher Reeve.
  15. There may have been a specific way in which these were acted but it might be difficult to say for sure. Most MIB examples have items individually wrapped while others have the twin antenna together with shield wrapped separately or some don’t have wrapping at all. Same for the Strike Valkyries. Aside from that the baggies they used were pretty inconsistent in feel, size, mil, and form of sealing. Would be an interesting note for sure. one person who has a very fine set of examples would be @Agent-GHQ. Hopefully his are still undisturbed.
  16. The target audience for the show itself was pretty young. Personally, I’m gonna wait on this. I didn’t care too much about the last season, hopefully Mando won’t be in constant need of rescue. I just figured that Disney can’t hire a writing team to do a full season of much these days and usually they’re just desperately trying to stretch out movie length plots to fit a season.
  17. Hasegawa loves to milk a mold. The majority of the parts are the same, just a few new ones, mostly lower legs, lower arms, face, antennae and cowl. I personally was hoping they’d go the extra mile and do the more detailed version, but the more I thought about it, the more I expected the re use of molds.it’s definitely a great example of the lower picture as far as surface, but I still would’ve liked them to do the extra stuff, but to be fair, that wasn’t in the show or the og line art
  18. Wasn't the point of spending flipping great wodges of cash on the Disney+ Star Wars originals to give the Disney+ Star Wars originals movie-quality visuals? IMO, the trailer looks fine visually. It's just unmistakably a trailer for a kids movie. (Well, that and unmistakably an unnecessary coda to The Mandalorian's story full of Filoni-isms.)
  19. Mommar

    Hi-Metal R

DHL is cheaper wirh the new price structure.
  20. Good to see some love for the ol' 262. I've got one of mine set up at work along with a 3Zero VF-1J. In battroid mode, I hate having the wings all up in the air like it's about to go gliding, but it looks a heck of a lot better down low like sortuva mechanical cape... and the big gun sticking up there seems very Macross imho.
  21. Probably cuz this movie was , essentially, Season 4, condensed. Targeting younger audiences is fine. I can't expect them to push Andor-targeted audience out every time.
  22. jenius

    1/55's revisited

No documentation but I would guess the heat shield would be in the battroid tray since it was included with the 1A and that only had the one tray.
