I’m not so sure it’s a circuit board. I think it’s just that green that gives it that appearance. Not saying there’s nothing electrical in there though. Also it is from a sci fi show and I don’t really know enough about the design, but the wings here probably aren’t holding fuel, might have some other power source

It could be, that's why I'm curious if there is any art depicting any of those details, or if they were just generated by spontaneous rectal extraction.  The internals of aircraft generally are painted a rather ugly green, just not that particular shade.

I don't necessarily have as much of a problem with the internals existing as I do with the structural compromises necessary to put them there.  That is a lot of extra parts to deal with potentially getting loose or falling off.  It was bad enough fixing the wing flaps on the Sentinel, but can you imagine having to mod every one of those panels to stay shut so they don't get caught on something while transforming it?

Wow! Their version of the Legioss looks like a circus act. Look what's under the hood or skirt. We'll entice you with meaningless gimmicks while compromising the overall look and design. This reminds me of EV Chinese car makers who has installed untested electronic  gimmicks into their vehicles by tricking potential victim's appetite towards  FOMO. I'l wait for this floppy mess to be in the discount bin.

The one thing they didn't do, that I wish they had, is eliminate the hinge on the panel behind the cockpit. Instead of that panel flipping over the way Gakken did originally, it should recess into the cavity. The array that goes over the shoulder should swivel out on linkage that allows it to sit above the shoulder without that panel being used. The array would twist back toward the exhaust, then pivot on an arm at the back of the chest piece, and then hinge to flip up and over. At this scale, they could have been the first company to make that happen. If they ever did a Shadow/Dark variant (which they obviously wont) that also would eliminate one of the mold changes necessary.

Looking at the close-up pics, I can get a sense it's gonna be built very solidly despite all the extra moving parts. Not a surprise considering its Pose+.

Maybe we are too harsh on it at this stage - at least its not a straight up larger size of Sentinel's, but has its own extra gimmicks and features.

It definitely is alot and I can't imagine it not being the priciest Legioss ever, but if my other Pose+ over the years are indicators - it will be solid and quality.

What is Skull Squadron colors? Admiral Hunter means Rick Hunter? He is from Macross, not Mospeada.

My memory might be hazy, but I remember someone painting a Toynami Alpha in Macross cannon-fodder brown color.

Don’t think I every saw one in the Skull-1 color scheme though.

Actually, he's from neither show.  Rick Hunter is a Robotech character (most recently seen in The Shadow Chronicles). 🤮

That means he's fair game for marketing Macross or Mospeada merchandise... outside of Japan, at least. 😒
