As long as I get a beautiful plane that can transform to Battroid, I am good. If I want realism, I wont ever be a fan of Humanoid mecha. Well that's fine, but I am. I guess I wouldn't be if the valks and toys *never* had them, but they always had them until the -30 and after, which seems kinda sloppy. You have to look hard but there are three in the nose. One on either side, right in-line with the painted stripe. The one on top is at the front of the anti-glare paint in front of the canopy.Here's a great shot previously posted by Noel a few days ago: Obviously there are no classic "Macross" round hole with handle styled boosters and this does indeed make me a bit sad. If I remember correctly the FSW are folded down in high speed mode while the tail fins stay in place. I can see the folded down FSW but not the tail fins in this image. I remember the tail fins also folded when messer went HSM...perhaps its not in the pic due to the perspective angle.. btw the model pic above this post also shows the tailfin with a hinge for folding....
