I will probably be comissioning a friend to pimp my Fan Racer Ride as I lack the skills at this point. is there anybody making a fan racer custom yet? or simply someone that has finished one of these fan racers? There is at least one very talented member here who has been planning to make one for a while. I hope he does. Even though I will have my yamato one I would still like a 1/48 version with better detail or any scale one with better detail. Easy build, the plastic quality is like yamato toys, thick and nice molds. 1/60 Hikaru V2 and other V2 pilots fit the cockpit. Two turbines rotate when air is blown on to it, sweet. Major Focker Posted May 25, 2009 Share Posted May 25, 2009 over the weekend i really got tempted to buy a v2 VF-1D just for the pilot figures. fortunately i didn't have much cash on me at the time and was too lazy to look for an ATM. i'm holding out in the hope that someone will make 1/60 figures to go with this kit (paging petar..), or perhaps recast. if someone is willing to sell their VF-1D figures, PM me. i'm also wondering, are pilot figures also covered in yamato's replacement program?
