kensei Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 (edited) Yeah..that's amphibious..... Mac0 Octo? That's what I mean by amphibious. We can' use it for the VF-X2 underwater mission. No destroids liao. Edited January 26, 2007 by kensei
kanedaestes Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Hey the VF-0D went underwater for a couple of minutes, so there you go
T.V. Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Hey the VF-0D went underwater for a couple of minutes, so there you go Hmm.. veweee eeentawesting.
eugimon Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 I'm going to be the party pooper... if it's the VF-0D, I'm not even going to bother reading about it until I hear graham say they fixed the shoulder issuer.
kensei Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 That issue can really be fixed by making the shoulder thicker. It might even tighten the shoulders up!
eugimon Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 That issue can really be fixed by making the shoulder thicker. It might even tighten the shoulders up! That and using a plastic that won't go brittle in a month.
nightmareB4macross Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 That issue can really be fixed by making the shoulder thicker. It might even tighten the shoulders up! It's not really the shoulder that's causing the problem. It's the shoulder ball-joint with the large parting line. I don't know if it was intended to be this way, but I can, without a doubt, say this is the actual piece at fault. If the parting line was flush with the ball joint, you would only have to increase the size of the rubber cap located in the shoulder. It would make a tight and uniform fit. The way it works now is, the parting line causes the circular cavity in the arm to expand and attempt to accomodate by stretching...then viola, you either get stress marks or broken shoulders.
mister_e Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 It's a quote from D.R. & Quinch. Nothing to do with Yamato or Macross this time, sorry. And if you haven't read D.R. & Quinch, you should. Graham Did everyone just miss Graham's post about his sig? Maybe we want new Yamato/Macross news so bad that even when Graham tells us he's not hinting at anything, we don't believe him
kensei Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 I've always been a firm believer that Graham loves to screw us up psychologically.
HoveringCheesecake Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Exactly. Seems like Graham is just screwing with us as usual. *shakes fist*
Dante74 Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 If that were true, who would Geoffrey be? a Yamato intern? I believe Graham this time. I really think the sig is just for fun. So Graham, can you tell us what your sig meant yet? I, for one, am still very curious.
Macross73 Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 yeah and exp1anation of 60 what was hYdden there For 2 dang 1ong would be nice
Lonewolf Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Well to revive this topic, what do you think his new sig means : Catch a falling Starfighter Put it in the pocket of your jeans You can use it as a cigarette lighter Or as an opener for a can of beans
Busted VF1A Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Graham has lost his mind? ... or is practicing bad Haiku
Dobber Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 (edited) Why it's the VF-11 of course!!! Think about it, it catches the YF-21, it has the big ass booster (cigarette lighter), and it has a Bayonette for the can opener!!! Oh God I hope it is the VF-11, I want one sooooo bad!!! Chris Edited March 20, 2007 by Dobber

nightmareB4macross Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 I like Dobber's answer better They're just actually lyrics. You'll find them at the very bottom of the page...http://www.starfarer.net/captlock.html
azrael Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Why it's the VF-11 of course!!! Think about it, it catches the YF-21, it has the big ass booster (cigarette lighter), and it has a Bayonette for the can opener!!! Oh God I hope it is the VF-11, I want one sooooo bad!!! Care to explain the "pocket" line?
Dobber Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Possibly because a 1/60 VF-11 will be pretty small compaired to the other 1/60's except the VF-1....just a shot in the dark Chris
rotorhead Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 i thought yamato would pimp out the vf-1 one more time and make a macross leatherman tool, complete with corkscrew and toenail clippers. oh, and of course with a lighter and a canopener. man, i can't wait for the low-vis version of that!
HoveringCheesecake Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Hmmm, if it is a VF-11 I will be very pleased. It's the only Plus VF that I want. I would, however, like to see an Enigma VF-1 before the 1/48s are done.
Scream Man Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 This is like High School poetry; reading things into lines that just happened to rhyme i hated High school poetry...
Lonewolf Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Well I guess time will tell. I like Dobber's interpretation though.

Sumdumgai Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 A VF-11 would kick so much ass! Need a VF-11! Now I'm all excited over what could be nothing...
1/1 LowViz Lurker Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 If true, hopefully the booster looks more like the anime this time. The boxy 1/72 FP really spoiled the thin look of the fighter mode imo.
ruskiiVFaussie Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 the 11 before the 21? What is this madness?
Lonely Soldier Boy Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Possibly because a 1/60 VF-11 will be pretty small compaired to the other 1/60's except the VF-1....just a shot in the dark Chris Thanks, Dobber. The SV-51 sig was easy, but I was lost this time I hoped for the 21 first, but that's okay. If Yamato is doing the 11, the 21 can't be too far behind
vlenhoff Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Well to revive this topic, what do you think his new sig means : Catch a falling Starfighter Put it in the pocket of your jeans You can use it as a cigarette lighter Or as an opener for a can of beans Sincerelly, I think it mean a key-chain valkyrie. Pocket of jeans.... Lighter or can opener.... Or maybe a valk the size of a lighter or a can opener which could fit in your pocket? I'm a crazy?
Dio Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 (edited) Catch a falling Starfighter Put it in the pocket of your jeans You can use it as a cigarette lighter Or as an opener for a can of beans In support of the VF-11 theory (and as my first official post as a member of Macrossworld!), I interpret it this way: In Macross Plus, the VF-11 did catch a falling YF-21 (as stated above). The jean pocket thing I'm lost on - perhaps he just threw it in to rhyme, or maybe it's a general statement that it will be a toy? I think "jeans" rhymes with "beans" is about as deep as the line goes, just my gut talking. But the last two lines make sense this way: Cigarette lighter/can opener? It was the only model to feature a bayonet on its gun pod (as stated above), but also recall that gun pods have been used to light giant cigarettes for Zentraedi. Either way, I'm happy to be here and hopefully I can bring something positive to the community. Edited March 21, 2007 by Dio
the_foul_fowl Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Put it in the pocket of your jeans Is that a VF-11 booster in your jeans, or are you just happy to see me?

That sounds like something Graham would think of.
do not disturb Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 VF-11B? looks like my mom will have to wait for her operation.
Valkyrie addict Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 oh rats!! VF-11?? I've just pre-order the club-M recast on hobbyfan, but, hell yeah, I want vf-11 pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee with fast packs on 1st release please, and a smaller box since it's a smaller fighter
Dante74 Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Although I'd love a VF-11, I expect Graham to drop in any minute now and go 'WTF?! Guys, it's just a song that I like! shees!'
