The 'Hey look at this really cool model build I saw' post

At least the name wasn’t shortened to Ichiroid -
Seems like a nostalgia war

I think that was a problem for a lot of non Witcher fans. I had no idea what was going on when I first started it, glad that I stuck in there. just finished Midnight Mass. it’s very slow and very preachy, with hints that things are going wrong rather than just jumping into the crazy, but it’s all worth it by the end. It’s extremely suspenseful

I want to see more of the soldier included. The regult goes the extreme opposite of hasegawa and looks a bit chunky. The Bandai one is right in the middle

I really don’t think b5 needs a reboot. There is so much that could be done as a sequel or even a side story- 924 replies

I don’t mind the black suits for the films. As far as the comics I like the basic grey and blue look. I think it looked a bit odd in the new 52 without the old fashioned underoos. I had always thought the undies were silly, but artistically they looked weird with blue boots and gloves, but somehow needed the blue to break up the pattern a bit. And I felt the same about that era of Superman

I had to catch up on the previous page. I thought I was in the wrong thread when I saw the comments about Nancy Drew.- 924 replies

I think it’s just lack of perspective since they are only a portion of the plane, but they may be a bit girthy. On another note, it is interesting to see these on U.S. sites as well

1/48 SOUTHERN CROSS BIOROID PART II
Big s replied to captain america's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
The armor really is very different on this one. I think the height is the same but other than that it looks very different and probably would just be easier to start from scratch on most parts.- 150 replies

It is nice to see some neglected subjects finally getting plastic kits rather than expensive hard to find resin ones. Patlabor has had kits and toys in the past, but they really do justice by adding the obscure labors and it’s nice to see live action sci-fi love for aliens and Robocop. And I said it in the other thread, but the one I’m most excited about is the Madox-01. Overall I think this is gonna be a year that will give a good smile to many hobby fans of sci-fi and anime

It was kinda odd that Batman and Robin had nipple suits, but not batgirl

The Alien/Predator/Aliens vs. Predator Thread
Big s replied to VT 1010's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
From my experience with the moderoid kits, they are very simple builds and have prepainted parts. This kit may not be much more complicated than a Star Wars kit from Bandai. And if it is 1/12 scale like it says, then you could have it crushing a few Bandai storm troopers -
No butt armor, but the rear thruster hangs low. The thigh armor should connect to the knee joint and has a very small connection at the top the lower torso that is supposed to carry the top heavy weight of this thing. I have a feeling that the kit will leave out that joint to keep things poseable. It’s a very unrealistic looking joint from all the pictures I’ve seen, but with a bit of anime magic works somehow.

Finished silent sea. There are some interesting concepts in this mostly frustrating show, but I think it’s mostly skippable. In this day and age to have a story about a killer virus and no one thinks to just keep their space suit on or at least wear gloves while handling bodies
