I actually don’t remember that, but that’s entertaining

Thanks for the pics. How stable does it feel? Do the joints feel like they hold the weight well or is a stand something to consider? Mine should be in by Wednesday, and at my pace it probably wouldn’t be finished until at least the end of the month. Just really excited about this kit more than anything else that’s been announced. Another odd question is that I noticed that the included decal sheet seems to have quite a bit of little Zentraedi language decals. Is there a guide to which ones to properly use together?

Personally, I was holding off on the decals because there wasn’t much I wanted to order from them since their site seems kinda frustrating and needs an update

Or a combiner with some smaller vehicles like the fang helicopter and one of those pods for the head

PROJECT A-KO (any other fans out there?)
Big s replied to 505thAirborne's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
You might be able to kitbash that aircraft using a 1/144 fighter and the core booster kit from gundam 08th ms team -
I recently had a set of decals shipped from Hlj along with a few other items. Since the pandemic they were giving a courtesy of holding items in the private warehouse, but they only bugged me every couple months to ship. They never got pushy about it and some of those items were on hold for over a year. The emails only said hey we have shipping options, but never said ship now or else. The regult was only about $20 when I preordered it, so I had it shipped with a few other things to save on shipping. I think there are a few closer to home shops that have these listed, maybe check prices at local web sites. Near me Hobby Town gets the Macross kits every now and then, so maybe others will have them and it won’t be such a burden with cost

Tekkaman Blade and all the other tekkamen always appeared glossy to me. They weren’t worn down real robots as much as techno magical armor. There were some situations where they would get battle damage or in Daggers case, refused to heal. The soldier types may look cool in a dull color, but the animation made them look shiny as well. i know orange cat industry has plans for a Tekkaman Evil and I hope there more down the line. The Orange Cat Blade definitely looks great and hopefully I’ll get the time to build it.

1/48 SOUTHERN CROSS BIOROID PART II

I knew it was something like that. I think after the newer Judge Dredd, I never watched the old one after that- 150 replies

PROJECT A-KO (any other fans out there?)

I just saw it listed last month on amazon prime tv. I think a lot of shows and ova stuff had cool designs that deserve kits or toys, but sometimes there’s a surprise release like the kit from Venus wars -
Just got the notice that the regult is on it’s way. Hobbysearch has the instructions up Incase anyone is interested in previewing how things go together. And they have multiple pictures of the box showing several spots that say standard type, so more than likely we’ll at least get some missiles in upcoming releases and still hopefully a scout
-
Or maybe Tekkaman
-
I think that’s the one from super robot wars. I forget the names of them, but there’s versions of the dunbine and gundam and others for their original designs that are pretty close to the mecha they’re based on. Then again, I could be wrong

Nice work on that figure

I have to agree with Thom. Here in the U.S. things aren’t perfect, but they’re pretty good and it’s mostly because we aren’t 100% capitalist or socialist. We try to take things that work from both spectrums and sometimes we fail, but for the most part we make it work

I think there are ideas of communism that aren’t that bad and are being used and defended by our own country. There is a difference with dictatorship though.

Ok, I get it now. I was idiotically trying to walk around the living room for a few minutes, but that explanation makes sense
-
Shouldn’t the left arm be forward while walking. I tried walking with right foot and hand forward while the left side was back after seeing that picture and I’m really bad at it
-
The part I don’t think anyone can get right on the GP01 and would be impossible if you want the kit to pose would be that waist armor connection to the upper thighs. There was a really good static garage kit that came out not too far back, but I’d have to go back a few dozen pages to find it

It’s totally wrong for the original art, but they were going with the katoki redesigns on everything around that time. Personally I would like to see as close to a true Kawamori version as possible in either mg or hg. The rd version is probably the closest so far

Younger audiences might get confused about that captain marvel stuff. Older audiences will be confused by the modern music
