That’s basically how the tariff thing works, they don’t eat the cost, we do. Basically the new collectors tax. But with these KC orders, they seem to just be stuck in limbo where they aren’t answering if or when things will ship to the U.S. and that’s an extra frustration on top of everything.

Looks pretty cool overall. The dust isn’t too noticeable in the pictures. I used to pull the dust and lightly buff the paint and it would often blend in. When it didn’t, I’d run a dirt wash and it would just look like a scrape or something

Too many injuries and deaths. We watched a security guard break his ankle on one of those. He hit a little bump that pushed him forward. He lost his footing and so his body was pushed up it made the thing accelerate over his foot and the weight crunched his ankle. Can’t remember if it was the inventor or the owner of the company that died on one. to be fair, the thing really wasn’t practical for what they originally marketed it for. It was expensive and wide and surprisingly heavy making portability tough and e-bikes and scooters came out with cheaper lighter thinner options

She was in a lot of big movies and such when I was growing up. We lost quite a few legendary names this year and hopefully they’re all having an amazing party in the afterlife

What Current Anime Are You Watching Version v4.0

Was curious about that one. I never intended to be a lifelong cat owner, but it seems they’re always there either as pets or strays that we feed to keep the rats away. Had some rats eat the engine wires in my car a few months back and haven’t seen them return after bribing the local stray. Still got three indoors and a couple that protect the property -
With KC the products were prepared from my understanding through a kickstarter type of program. They would legally be required to honor the prices at the time, although shipping is a different matter. They basically could just cancel outright and refund, or send things out as originally stated from the contract, or they may up charge on shipping. But there’s also the wait it out and see if the situation changes. I don’t know if they added any additional stipulations in the initial orders that may add an extra fee to cover tariffs, since many of the orders were made before that was going to be an issue. I just wish they’d give a clear answer to those that did support them

Probably worth skipping again. Those movies are pretty bad

I was thinking the same about this one, there’s a few others popping up that look like fmp designs lately. It was mostly a gundam knockoff thing, but seems they’re branching out a bit lately.

I was just running on basic assumptions since I’ll never watch the show, but if he went for one of those high end apartments, I doubt he’d be able to afford it without the only fans side money. Although as a stretch of reality, he may have somehow scored one of those pandemic era rent controlled rarities when the previous tenant kicked the bucket, but beyond that, he’d most likely just be stuck in a studio size box -
Yes actually. I try not to think about it, but even the second one had some super goofy moments. The first movie was simple and great an no other Superman movie can match it, but the memory of just flinging his s to wrap people up or flying in the opposite direction to turn back time or that weird thing he did with the damn sorta make it tough for me to watch the original film and enjoy it the same way before stupid really started taking over.

The chief in the second movie actually understood the phrase he was using. It didn’t mean he totally understands English, but he seems to understand the phrase and how it’s used when he hands over the pistol. I kinda doubt he learned that in distress. It shows they probably picked up a bit of the language and may understand more than what’s even shown in the movies. So it seems that they may actually care a little about what humans are saying beyond the words used when humans are in trouble or just as a lure

I probably won’t ever watch the show and I don’t know the specifics on the apartment, but I do know a barista in L.A. might actually pull in a good chunk of change. Minimum wage there is $20 and there’s a possibility she may make more than that hourly. Downtown L.A. it’s probably getting her close to handling 10 customers an hour while it’s slow and people at coffee shops are usually more generous than for pizza delivery, so that might be at least another $20 bucks an hour and possibly quite a bit more when it’s busy and although you’re supposed to report tips on the taxes, nobody really does or at least nowhere near the proper amount. She might be pulling in $40 to $60 an hour on average and it’s possible that she’s pulling in $80 an hour depending on how busy the place really is and how many other workers she’s splitting customers with. It definitely would be more realistic if she’s sharing the rent though, but if she’s not spending her money on stupidity, she may be able to put a big chunk of change to the rent if she’s a full timer. -
Yeah, I didn’t realize until the rewatch that they were picking up English, even though in the first it was mainly hunting Spanish speakers. The chief in the second kinda surprised me there and I guess in a few more decades, maybe they could learn to have a basic conversation

Was just doing a silly rewatch of the first couple Predator films and oddly they seem to understand more than I remember. Mostly in the second film where one definitely understands cuss words are tied to horrible things happening and the chief actually seems to know a bit more by telling Danny Glover’s character to take the pistol. Can’t really say that they know enough to order a burger, but by the second movie it does seem like there’s a bit of an attempt to learn English, although hunting is definitely the main priority and like most people on earth, the first thing they really start to learn are the bad words

I kinda thought it was tied more into the movie from the previews, but the movies had him as a clown much further back. I guess the show is more of a based on the story and based on the books wherever it decides however it decides, but more loosely. and this is definitely as show for people that hate children cause

Looks great, weathering and detailing black is always tough and you did a good job of it

Anger makes people more engaged unfortunately. You could be checking on something about wholesome animals, then they start feeding you clips of goats getting knocked off a cliff by an eagle when all you really wanted to see was a cow playing soccer with a bale of hay

That and I really wish they used the manga style designs for the exo suit

He’s changed his style drastically over the years. He was really famous for popularizing preshading, then he went with a rainbow splat undercoat and now it seems to have evolved away from airbrush to brush painting more often

I’ll use that Aliens, Alien 3 example again and with the great ending of Aliens she is absolutely triumphant in defeating the alien queen and rescuing a soldier and the child she had spent the entire movie protecting. It’s a perfect ending to one of the greatest action movies ever , but it’s all for nothing on a rewatch because we know that that wasn’t a victory, but a horrific fail. We unfortunately know that the soldier died after the child was torn open and that alone kinda kills the memory of that great movie that came before. Any time you rewatch aliens and you get to that ending, the memory of what happened next kills the joy. And that’s not all, you know everyone that survived dies in the next movie and no matter how much you try and ignore it, that thought pops back in at the ending of Aliens. Others might use the Tim Burton Batman as an example. That suit is so good until you realize that Batman is about to go through his nipple suit phase

I really can’t spend that much on a toy, even though it’s kinda two toys in one. I also really don’t have that kind of space
