  5. https://news.toyark.com/2021/06/04/mcfarlane-toys-batman-1966-retro-6-inch-figures-revealed-430563 The articulation in the legs is like that so that the figures can sit in the Batmobile. If McFarlane gets to releasing a 1/12 scale 1989 Batman later then maybe there’s a chance that there will be a 1/12 scale Batmobile release as well. I’d buy one for sure.
  6. Looking forward to Batman, but I'm not sure about the Superman series.
  7. Kevin Conroy, the Definitive Voice of Batman, Has Died Kevin Conroy—the actor who became Batman for generations of fans when he voiced the Dark Knight in the iconic Batman: The Animated Series and Justice League cartoons, as well as a plethora of video games, including the Batman Arkham franchise—has died. He was 66. First reports of Conroy’s passing, after a brief battle with cancer, came from Diane Pershing, who played Poison Ivy opposite Conroy in the legendary Batman: The Animated Series, before being confirmed by Warner Bros. Animation. (more) https://gizmodo.com/kevin-conroy-dead-obituary-batman-dc-comics-rip-1849772917
  8. In late 2002, acclaimed writer Jeph Loeb and a talented artist known for his work at Marvel, Image and WildStorm named Jim Lee debuted a 12-part Batman storyline in the pages of BATMAN #608. The story’s title was “Hush,” and the simple name belied a surprisingly complex story that would feature much of the Dark Knight’s popular rogues’ gallery, hint at the eventual return of the once dead Jason Todd, introduce Bruce Wayne’s childhood friend Tommy Elliot and bring the romantic undertones of Batman’s relationship with Catwoman to the forefront for the first time. It’s a story that’s ripe with cinematic potential, as we’ll likely discover when it’s brought to animated life as part of the next wave of DC Universe Movies. Sources: https://www.dccomics.com/blog/2018/07/20/batman-hush-is-getting-an-animated-movie https://www.cbr.com/batman-hush-animated-film-announcement/ This is one exciting news. I love HUSH storyline. And of course, I love Jim Lee's art. The other big Batman storylines that I want them to make as an animated featurette is Sword of Azrael, and Knightfall. I don't mind it even if they do it in Batman Animated (Bruce Timm) style.
  9. Premieres July 28, 2019 on EPIX. 12. Super Power Beat Down is an online series produced by Bat in the Sun Productions (the company behind the acclaimed Batman fan films City of Scars and Seeds of Arkham) and featured on Machinima. It features one-on-one matches between icons of comic books, movies and video games, as portrayed by cosplayers. Those of you who follow the MW Automotive Thread may already be familiar with this show, as episode 1 featured the Batmobile drag race. Here's the list of episodes:
  13. One of the most controversial graphic novels of all time finally gets animated. Alan Moore and Brian Bolland's Batman: The Killing Joke is produced by Bruce Timm (Batman: The Animated Series) and directed by Sam Liu (Superman/Batman: Public Enemies, Batman: Year One), and will feature the following voices: Kevin Conroy as Bruce Wayne/Batman (since 1992) Mark Hamill as The Joker (who else?) The film will be rated R and is slated for a July release. A Sneak Peek at Batman: The Killing Joke
