  2. Pardon me if this offends the Ace Combat fandom here as I am not a gamer by any means, but does this game require using a flight stick accessory to play effectively? I tried playing AC7 on my PS5 and found it completely unplayable with a standard controller and settings. It was so awful that I didn't even bother trying to adjust anything. I couldn't get anything I was trying to fly towards - even static things - to stay on screen let alone within my reticle. But I'm not very precise with tiny sensitivities of analogue sticks, so I assume it's just not for me. But I was a "Genius" at Robotech; Battlecry. I really miss that game. Blast into a war zone in fighter mode with missile salvos, drop into battroid with guns akimbo hitting incoming missiles, grab or do something or other and blast out of there in gerwalk while strafing regults around buildings. Man that was a great game! AC7 did not scratch that itch tho.

  4. Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill Season 2 was hilarious again today. The ocean battle was so one sided. I just bring myself to hate any shows. I find occasionally a real stinker but that is rare.
  5. If anyone doesn’t know or heard of the Foot Clan, then you have not been exposed the TMNT lore.
  6. aaaaaaand I'm going to be out of town on New Year's Eve.......Thanks wife!!!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ«£

  8. I guess we're running on different definitions of "straight," then. In my view, the movie not being ironic about its setting or otherwise doing a wink-and-nod to the audience is how it plays it straight. It doesn't raise an eyebrow at Ryu/Sagat being able to shoot a Hadouken/Tiger Shot, or Fei Long having a Shienkyaku, or... Blanka.
  9. Having finally played it a year ago or so, yes please... but only if they can maintain a relative facsimile of the flight model. It definitely feels like the games have drifted further and further from the AC3 ideal in the decades since. AC04 was still pretty nice, but AC5 and beyond, while still definitely fun, also definitely veered a bit too arcade-y. I think it's the reduction of inertia, mainly. It's still there, but in a very subdued way. ASdkasjdflk. Anyway. Interesting that the capitol city is named Theve. Also interesting that the Su-57's post-stall missile is called a "Parthian shot." This truly is a Strange Real world...
  10. May'n showing how much distance she travelled this year!
  11. @derex3592 all your hard work is paying off. It’s looking great! πŸ‘
  12. Great reviews so far. Depending on timing my wife and I plan to see it on NYE for a day date but its over 3 hours long and if we can't swing it we'll probably see Anaconda instead, lol. https://www.ign.com/articles/avatar-fire-and-ash-review
  13. Yeah, but it's from the current comic book, apparently. At least it seems to be a separate kit, so you can skip it. The fusion cannon is the big fix for me, but I kinda want those gap fillers. Not sure if I'll get the full A kit or just the W.
  14. Early Sunday morning l finished up the hardest PE for the Texas. The rear observation tower and radar screen. I'm glad I saved this until last because I had been dreading it. All the techniques I had taught myself and utilized up to this point came in handy to get this part finished up with only minimal stress... LOL πŸ˜‚. So at this point I still have a lot of little diddly PE to finish up but it's all rinse and repeat stuff I've done before so it's just a question of making time to sit down and do it.. (42 - 50cal guns / quad 50s /baskets and such, and the two aircraft cranes) Other than that, it's down to dropping down a million little plastic parts on the deck and before you know it..... It's gonna be time to start painting this bad boy!
  15. AC7 was... well it wasn't Assault Horizon at least. It was not good enough to keep my interest till the end. there I said it. The plot, the DLC nonsense.. I'm not holding my breath with 8, will wait for it to be out awhile before I decide to take the plunge.
  16. That gun handle attachment just looks stupid. And is it me, or does the original shoulders look better than the bulkier ones on the upgrade kit?
  17. Oh yeah fun will be had, I saw the rivalry between this and the second Mortal Kombat movie is picking up, that first reboot movie was just okay, I'm looking forward to Street Fighter far more then MK2.
  18. This is the way.....
  19. Thanks, that one jumped out at me as well. I have half an idea for a B/D/G style head and/or a two seater trainer version, but those will have to wait until I get through a few other things. In the meanwhile, updated the google link to add the 24F model for anyone who wants to play with it. Enjoy! https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1MEqAULkJDzBoGyFBrgRHBX7C7_ZVdfcg?usp=sharing
  20. I wish to have @Zeliard's skills and patience to detail mine up. Speaking of details, I really oughta install them little thingies on both my original and this reissue. btw, the reissue's styrofoam casing is different.
  21. Really nice markings

  23. How do those work? Are they pre-printed cards and the artist signs them? Or are they drawn by hand? I've only ever seen an old picture of Miyatake signing a bunch of pre-rendered cards (the only one I own) I assume there are both types, how do you tell which is which?
