I hate parts-forming, so this was annoying. Head just floats, doesn't peg to anything without the insert -Floating waist, die cast hips don't connect to the nose cone -Broke off one of the antennae when trying to adjust the legs in fighter mode, the head doesn't really feel like it sits anywhere properly in any mode -Standard fist that can fold into the arm doesn't have a hole for the rifle, so parts-swapping is necessary when not in fighter-mode Honestly if this thing was $100 less, i'd be ok with it, but as it stands it isn't quite as solid and "toyetic" as I was hoping for. I don't understand how anyone involved on it's initial concept right to the engineering in CAD didn't say "Hey, this whole thing is NOT a good idea. Lets write it off." jenius Posted August 16 Posted August 16 I didn't pre-order one because I assumed it would become vaporware when they came to their senses... Now I'll wait for clearance sales just to grab one for anymoon. Quote

I figured it might be vaporware until I realized that it was robotech, then remembered that they don’t know how to turn back from horrible mistakes and they will put a funky design or funky colored toy in hand no matter how many complaints they get. Although they might not do a follow up if the cash ain’t there for the first release Quote

Black Valkyrie Posted August 17 Posted August 17 Starting to doubt it, I only want the VF-1A CF or maybe I`ll wait the Toynami`s 1/55 remake. Quote
MKT Posted Wednesday at 12:23 PM Posted Wednesday at 12:23 PM I mostly skipped through here and there, but there are some bizarre engineering choices. One that really stands out is how the hips don't even secure to the nosecone in Battroid. Quote
danth Posted Wednesday at 07:20 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:20 PM The terrible gaps, the bad proportions, the wrongness of the legs and shoulders...it might be the perfect Robotech toy! Quote
