Xigfrid
Last time I spoke with Fext hobby they said they have the Sci-Fi 2nd version coming soon, and to my understanding it would be a different set than the "Starwars" one. Any idea when it would be available ?

I think they went with the blank VF-1 because the white armor was the first test print to be fitted onto the VF-1 and test fitting parts could damage the paint. The grey armor was printed after the white one, I am assuming they made revisions when printing the grey version so better tolerances to not damage the paint on the VF-1J. borgified
Just went on Fext Hobby's FB page and thought you might be interested for those that are not on FB. Here's the rundown for the "Project 600": Owl One 1/60 Armour Update (as per their post): ""PROJECT 600" will be ended tomorrow (1 Dec., 2018), it's a pity we still haven't got enough pre-orders to kick off the project. We want to thank you again for backers for the support & made the pre-orders for this campaign. RE: EXTENDED PROJECT 600! (As of January 31, 2019) We think PROJECT 600 is still a potential campaign, so we would like to extend the project time for 3 more months (ends on 1 Mar., 2019) for a better campaign with new Armour color options! We would like to increase the Armour options to 5 instead of 2, so Fans can have more choices! For those backers who already paid are free to change the color options by informing our CS dept. (cs@fexthobby.com). New pre-order information of new color options will be posted in our online store in 2 days! The project schedule will be same as before, in coming 3 months, if we receive 600 pre-orders (Assorted style), we will officially start the mould & bring this item alive in another 5 months (excluding factory new year vacation from mid of January, 2019 – end of February, 2019). A deposit of U$15. is required for each Pre-order (Product Price: US$ 77.90). Deposit will be refunded if the campaign doesn’t reach 600 pcs. pre-order after 3 months. Incase the campaign successfully reaches the target, deposit is not refundable & all supporters need to pay the balance before delivery of the goods (individual mail will be sent to all supporters to finish the complete deal!). Remarks: Shipping charge to be advised separately once final packaging format fixed. NEED YOUR SUPPORT TO BRING THE PROJECT ALIVE! PAYMENT RETURN for Backers: For backer who needs refund, pls. mail order details to cs@fexthobby.com, we shall follow your case accordingly." Note: They're still missing a lot of pre-orders as per the write up 9 weeks ago.

jvmacross
They should just combine A/B and C/D and either drop E or make it a one-off with all possible weapons and armor.....maybe they would get their pre-orders if customers/fans felt they were get more for their money. Nahhhh!!! Totally agree with this. Even though I’ve mentioned my dislike of the milking they do, I still try to support and promote them but it is pretty clear most fans that know about this are not biting. Here are pics from FEXT Hobby/FEXT System. More information is coming. The pic below was taken by MIng Leung on FB. spacemanoeuvres
Very nice. I like that it’s plug and play. I have a bunch of the msg chain bases which are nice but I feel like you have to paint them to reach their full potential. The printing on these adds a lot of depth.
