Changed up my MacZero display a little bit.

I'm really glad Bandai included stands with these and made them this dark brownish color, so any discoloration that might occur in the future won't be noticeable. The decals are a great touch too. I've sworn off buying any more of those overpriced clear tamashii stands after my old Stage Act 2 set eventually yellowed over time. Plus the connection between those tubular stand arms and the joints becomes loose over time and use.

I did need to mod the battroid stand connector so I could mount the VF-0A on the sturdier main stand arm and get it that low and angled... plus I really don't like having to use the fighter mode wings and spread them open so they don't hit the stand arm.

Finally got this bad boy fixed and on display in the macross case. It's size made for a difficult fit in, but got it on the shelf with Millia's 21 and my jungle camo yamato 1/48 vf-1 and GBP.

M'Kyuun's lego variable glaug with some minor tweaks to the paint job and some extra bricks here and there.

I probably didn't scroll far enough back.  Do you have pic from a different angle?  Maybe the front?  It's hard to appreciate it from only this angle.

came back East Coast to switch storage units and dig through my stuff:

missing in the picture is half of my collection, VF-1 DX stuff  in the other unit being moved over...

Now that I have a second set of moducases built, I have enough space to separate out SDFM and DYRL into separate shelves. Have space for my second SDF-1 in cruiser mode and Bandai's DX stuff too.

In the process of moving my collection to the new cases so I can move the old cases from my living area into my office/ready room. Probably going to be a multi-week project...

DYRL shelf is pretty much done. Might throw a few HMRs and character figures in where there's space, but my focus is on the larger scale stuff.

Now to finish the SDFM and Frontier shelves...

I think we could all pitch in $5 to collectively make it happen

Thanks Shawn! Though that might be a bit too ambitious for me. Maybe one of these days I'll get a good quality printout of a starfield or DYRL battle screenshot and put it across the background...

Thanks! I wish I had more time these days to fix more up. I don't think I've finished a single valk since the VF-171 over a year ago. 

SDFM shelf mostly done now. Might have to get some risers for the flight stands to raise the fighters up because them 1/48 battroids are so huge.

 

Frontier shelf gonna take awhile... so many valks and character figures were released for that series, as I've discovered while taking out the many Sheryl & Ranka figures from storage. A testament to its popularity I suppose. I feel like some lemon cake for some reason...

Yeah, but that one was on purpose because Bandai couldn't bother giving us two sitting figures for the 1D.

Those display cabinets are very impressive. So, you still have Mac Plus, Mac 7, Zero, Frontier, (possibly some Macross II) to set up and of course you're forever favorite Delta.
