What's next for Bandai? (Wish List)

I know they're probably not in any of the upcoming slots in the near term, but I have to wonder if they'd ever issue revival versions of:

YF-30
VF-19 Advance w/Supers
VF-27 w/Supers

Anything is possible with Bandai's out of the blue release schedules! I think the VF-27 is the most likely in the list given we've already received three (four if you include the WWM) VF-25 toys and two YF-29s.

I hope if Bandai does release the VF-27 again, it will be a true renewal with improved crotch/hips and shoulders. And I still want the ghosts that appeared with the Super VF-27!

I have in the Arcadia thread, but I'd be overjoyed if we got a HMR or DX version...or even that self-transforming one (which I know now I'll never afford).

I don't think there ever was at this point EVEN from the Robotech community. 

I mean, remember KitzConcept 1/2000 Metallic 'Macroo' Deluxe SDF-1 Concept? Revealed back in 2017 and nothing come into fruition since. I know, I know. It's the wrong TV style as a lot of guys pointed out -- a 'Hasegawa Hybrid'. But it's the only one that some are looking forward to since it's going to be produced in 1/2000 scale first until they announced it to 1/3000.

Yeah, the dark silver rather than white/light grey is just awful, and overall it looks like a cheap knockoff.

I’d rather see more of that prototype Bandai showed off a few years ago.

Sad to say it's already past July 21st. Nada for DYRL 40th Anniv. 

 

Maybe in 10 years? I'm pretty sure they're going to tease an SDF-1 in their Golden Anniversary Celebration only to become vaporware again.

Bandai needs to finish out the rest of the Macross Plus lineup like VF-11 Thunderbolt w/ fastpacks and booster pack during Isaumu's chase plane trying to keep pace with Guld's YF-21's areal trials.

The one and only thing on my Bandai wishlist right now is for them to hire some competent freaking quality control for their releases.  

All other ideas can wait.  They need to get their heads screwed on straight before releasing anything new.

Unexpectedly, it's a shame Bandai can't even get minor changes to existing molds right, seeing how it played out from the DX VF-1 to the VT-1, and previously the DX 31 Siegfried to the 31AX Kairos+.

At least the HMR line continue to be stellar design & engineering wise, hopefully they don't screw up the near upcoming VF-19 Kai.

They've released revival versions of the 25F, 25G, and the 25S with their add-ons. They have to release the RVF-25 with its ghosts, right? Right? Right? There's no way they'd start a squadron and then never finish it like that, right? Right?
