spanner
Hey guys, moved house recently. Sold off quite a bit of stuff before and after the move but also purchased a few more 1/18 cars. Thinking of picking up a Valkyrie again. Just not sure which one to get.. I'd like a DX VF-1J again or maybe I'll wait for them to release a brownie in that line. Hope everyone has been well! You got some catching up to do on the 1/48 DX line(?), but i think that's the same for everyone since pre-order madness was crazy...... DYRL is getting the 1/48th treatment at the moment, you might just be in at the right time.... Edited July 26, 2019 by seti88

Oh, and speaking of which: This 1:50 diecast German crane cost over $1000 USD. CM's Patlabor figures sold separately. No more complaining about the cost of Macross toys! Xigfrid
@tekering I have also noticed that all the 1:50 diecast models are really much more expensive compared to 1:64 ones, I really don't know why there is such a gap! Unfortunately, there are less choice about engines in the smaller scale. @spanner Glad to hear you would come back ! I think you can begin with the DX 1:48 line if you want to keep the display tight. I can't see Bandai making anything bigger than the VF-1 in this scale.

Mommar
So between the four packages I got the day I came back from a business trip and the three more figures I found today here’s the haul for the week. Scourge/Hela, Luis/Ghost, X-Factor Cyclops number two, Outback Dazzler number two, 80th Anniversary Classic Thor (an amazing figure!), VF-31E times two and another LP by Hybrid. vlenhoff
The cheap stands or Marcross Arcadia Yamato Dx Base Support Holder Stand Transparent 60 Series VF-1 (yes, they misspelled macross) finally arrived. They are very thin and my V1 1/60 Ostrich slightly bends it open a bit. With that said i love it, as it gives the fighter mode a very dinamic pose... but just that pose. With the V1 Elint the stand may need some trimming for best fitting. It hits the antenna coming from the arm undercarriage and it puts pressure on it. I had to put the Elint V1 back in my older flightpose stands. In any case, 1/48 without the gun fit pretty well, and it sort of saves space if you fold the wings back. jeniusornome
@kkx hooked me up with a nice deal on KC's SD M&M pair, and I am just loving them. This cute couple is going to be sitting right in the middle of my red shelf. I snagged a 31C from Mandarake! Paid a little more than I would have liked, but it was the only 31 I wanted so I splurged a little. I considered just doing a Hasegawa kit, would have been a lot cheaper. But on this red shelf, I also have Arcadia's 1J Milia (ty @jrhudson311, also where I got the little Miriya) and I’m going to put a PG Gundam kit up there, so the big figures on it will all be 1/60 this way. I've got the KC SD Max and an Arcadia 1J Max on my blue shelf right now (got the Arcadia Max in an ebay auction, brand new, for just under $180 shipped, and I had about $30 off of that in ebay bucks, so, woohoo!). Hoping to find either a renewal VF-25G or YF-29b that someone might want to trade for my DX VF-25A for that shelf. When I finish clearing out the rest of my stuff I'm picking up a PG Strike Rouge, planning to paint with extra red for Miriya (Skygrasper too, going to try and just mirror her VF-1 scheme for that) and a PG GP01/Fb with a blue treatment for Max. kkx
Looking great. The tiny helmet under the SD Milia is super nice. Good luck with your plan, hope the PG01 Max will work out well. I have one unbuilt, might follow your example.
