    I've never cared for his acting "skills." Too much screaming like a little girl, screaming no, no, no all the time or derp facing his way through things. Plus I think most of the movies he's been the star, or at least costar in have been garbage, at least the ones I've seen, the T-Formers movies, Indy-4...

    Let's hope that Shia LeDouche's character is not that major of one, the less lines we hear from him, the better. Of course my oldest tells me the other day that he thinks LeDouche is a good actor and missed him in the latest T-Fromers movie. I was left unable to react by that...

    I am planning to rent a table for MWCon this year and sell signed copies of my book Spiral War: On Daggers Wings. I will be selling them at the list price of $18. Since Exo will be there and he did the cover artwork, people may also be able to convince him to sign the cover as well. What I am trying to gauge now is how many copies to bring to the convention. Any interested parties, who will be in attendance, please post that interest here. See you all at MWCon.

    What;s the best way to check to see if you have a blown headgasket? I think the one on my 98 tacoma might be bad, I hear bubbling in the radiator after it gets hot and when driving it gets hotter the faster I go.

    I used to work with one of the engineers who flight testes the YF-23. He said when it was fitted with the "Correct" engines it took off like something out star wars, nothing, not even the YF-22 could keep up. He should me a video from the F-15 in chase and the YF-23 was a full mil outaccelerating an F-15D at max burn. The F-15 eventually said, to hell with it and started doing rolls around the YF-23s contrails.

    It seems like all the "new" stuff we are seeing for EpVII is taking its cues from the old McQ/Johnston concept art, which is cool, but at the same time leaves me a little worried about the story, Jedi-Bendu and Luke Starkiller anyone? Afterall, JJs two Star Trek films were basically just poor rehashes of ST:TMP/SW IV, and TWOK.

    Ok I just read that PR and WTF? It's been a long time since I saw a PR with that much blatant misrepresentation. And then, the KS for the RT:Academy art book, $500k to release a book. Are they out of their minds?

    B5 was awesome, and as much as I love it, I would rather it came back as a series, I get to me with JMS in november, and believe me, I will pick his brain about this. The only way this could work would be as a series of movies, 4-5, going along with the original B5-Babylon Prime arc he had planned. But even that would require a ton of storyline trimming.

    IIRC Carl's original plan for "Robotech" was to go over to Japan, buy the distro rights to various mecha shows and redub them similar to Starblazer/SBC Yamato and the old Force 5 Animes. IT was the networks who came back and said that the shows weren't long enough, and demanded that they be stitched together with a common storyline. That ended up creating the Robotech we know and loathe, but that did act as the gateway drug for many of us. What HG should do is go back to that original model. There was a sign that might do that a few years ago when they allowed the release of SDF Macross, SDC Southern Cross, and Mospeada, but then it went no where and they used that as an excuse to bring back Robotech as it was. Why not make the Robotech IP the focal point for bringing mecha shows over to the US? More than that, for brining merchendise assiociated with those shows as well? I know I might be onboard if Frank did the following: 1) Let the "creative staff" at HG go. 2) Apologize to the fans of Robotech and associated Series and put them into reissue, maybe get them back on TV, but as their original series, not Robotech. So we get Robotech: SDF Macross, et al... 3) Apologize to Big West and try to strike a deal to bring the rest of the Macross IP over, maybe even to the point of getting Macross 7 and Frontier on American TV, just dubbed with western voice talent (good with the bad folks). 4) Start bringing over other mecha shows that have been largely ignored in the US, or other military themed shows that have fallen to the wayside or fallen out of distribution. It would be an uphill battle with all the other distributors, but it could work. 5) Then start making an entirely new robotech series, seperated from the original, or even do a proper Mospeada sequel.

    Well if you are exploring new areas it wouldn't be a bad idea to have an explorer who has some form of combat training. It might even be a case where the explorer is ex-military and had N7 training while they were in. And my comment about it possibly going MMO is because of games like SW:TOR, which many described as a single player game wrapped in an MMO shell. I would have liked to play that game's storyline, but didn't want to have to deal with going on servers and dealing with a bunch of folks interupting the flow. I just hope that they don't take that direction with ME4.

    I don't think any of the major e-retailers release in pdf, but if you want to read on your computer, I recommend calibre. It is an e-book management and conversion program available for free for all OS' and will read/convert to all major e-book formats including PDF.

    What is the policy going to be on vending there? She who holds the money says I can go, but would like me to bring books to sell if at all possible, and I think there is a demand.
