    Thanks Frothymug, If I had the setup for it, I would make an audiobook, but I lack the setup and the time to do that, unless people want screaming kids or car noise in the background.

    My first attempt at doing a video/youtube ad for Spiral War: On Dagger's Wings. Thoughts? Also I need to make a decision before 12-September regarding getting a table at MWCon, would any members be interested in getting a signed copy of On Dagger's Wings there?

    I might be interested, but want to see how many folks are actually interested in buying a signed copy of my book. Spiral War: On Dagger's Wings. The interest thread I posted in the for sale section has gotten no replies at this point. I will make a decision before 12 September.

    I would test it on a small area or a discarded piece first to see how it looks, probably more of a satin finish though, given the size of the "actual" ship. Naval ships are mostly flat in color, but the water and constant repainting, cleaning can make them appear shiny.

    Dare I ask if it can transform? Scratch that, don't care it is so awesome that I don't want to see it hurt. Would love to see it up close but we know what happens when people send prototypes to Shawn for MWCon, lol, jk.

    God dang it, my jaw shattered it hit the floor so hard.

    Aircraft parking brakes are actuated using the rudder pedal toes, I don't think I've ever seen a e/p-brake on a console before.

    I've never cared for his acting "skills." Too much screaming like a little girl, screaming no, no, no all the time or derp facing his way through things. Plus I think most of the movies he's been the star, or at least costar in have been garbage, at least the ones I've seen, the T-Formers movies, Indy-4...

    Let's hope that Shia LeDouche's character is not that major of one, the less lines we hear from him, the better. Of course my oldest tells me the other day that he thinks LeDouche is a good actor and missed him in the latest T-Fromers movie. I was left unable to react by that...

    I am planning to rent a table for MWCon this year and sell signed copies of my book Spiral War: On Daggers Wings. I will be selling them at the list price of $18. Since Exo will be there and he did the cover artwork, people may also be able to convince him to sign the cover as well. What I am trying to gauge now is how many copies to bring to the convention. Any interested parties, who will be in attendance, please post that interest here. See you all at MWCon.

    That is some serious depot level maintenance, I wonder how many photo-etch kits went into making all those little fiddly bits

    What;s the best way to check to see if you have a blown headgasket? I think the one on my 98 tacoma might be bad, I hear bubbling in the radiator after it gets hot and when driving it gets hotter the faster I go.

    I used to work with one of the engineers who flight testes the YF-23. He said when it was fitted with the "Correct" engines it took off like something out star wars, nothing, not even the YF-22 could keep up. He should me a video from the F-15 in chase and the YF-23 was a full mil outaccelerating an F-15D at max burn. The F-15 eventually said, to hell with it and started doing rolls around the YF-23s contrails.

    It seems like all the "new" stuff we are seeing for EpVII is taking its cues from the old McQ/Johnston concept art, which is cool, but at the same time leaves me a little worried about the story, Jedi-Bendu and Luke Starkiller anyone? Afterall, JJs two Star Trek films were basically just poor rehashes of ST:TMP/SW IV, and TWOK.

    Ok I just read that PR and WTF? It's been a long time since I saw a PR with that much blatant misrepresentation. And then, the KS for the RT:Academy art book, $500k to release a book. Are they out of their minds?

    B5 was awesome, and as much as I love it, I would rather it came back as a series, I get to me with JMS in november, and believe me, I will pick his brain about this. The only way this could work would be as a series of movies, 4-5, going along with the original B5-Babylon Prime arc he had planned. But even that would require a ton of storyline trimming.

    Nice, will definitely follow this. In a few years I plan to build scale simpit of my own based on my own designs as well.
