    Root cause is looking to be the new, advanced APU. I guess there are some bugs to work out in it.

    Well, the story, visuals and gameplay look good. If it comes out for PC I might give it a whirl. Though, Mercury became a garden world, seriously, do these people not study science at all?

    Not digging the new x-wing. Why didn't they correct the biggest design flaw and raise the cockpit up a bit to give better visibility?

    Stranger was not one of my favorite RAH books and was written at the start of the whole free love craze which made it very popular in the 60s. The extended edition, puplished after he died, delves into some seriously interesting metaphysics which played into some of his later works. It is a good book, but not light reading by any stretch. SST is one of my favorites of his though, read it. It is worlds better than the crappy movie. THough the CGI animated SST movie is not bad, and can almost be considered a sequel to the book, if it didn't have so many things from the movie thrown in.

    I loved Monsters, total sleeper, and underrated, but a great movie that really does get to you on a lot of levels. I hope that the sequel does it justice. It looks like they are taking a more action oriented turn this time, almost like how Aliens did after Alien, just a heck of a lot grittier.. What is that crappy as "song" in the trailer? As for Skyline, that was a demo reel gone wrong and is better left buried somewhere never to be seen or heard of again.

    I've read most of RAH's catalog, Sixth Column was a little wierd to read at the time as I was dating a half japanese girl.

    Bugger me sideways,. I have scoured the folders that the latest version of my book should be in and it's gone, both the .doc and .htm versions. The epub version is there, but neither of the source files, WTF?!?! I need to find those files or else I will have to go into an older file and correct all the formatting errors, again, its not even on the old computer's hard drive or my backup external. ARGGH!!!!

    While I get making it looked based on the DARPA man-amps for the familiarity aspect, why not back some armor on top of it?

    Looks interesting, but what is the justification behind the mecha? I love giant mecha, true, but I hate when there is no justification for it beyond, hey that's cool.

    While I know Kennedy and Kasdan are quality, a good script can still be turned to trash by a bad director.

    Eh... I want this to be good, but I can't get too excited about this, JJA is overrated. I can't think of any project he's been attached to that I thought was all that great.

    hmm, watched the preview again and I think I was wrong on one point.

    Holy crap that looks awesome. Watching that preview tells me enough to get a good grasp of what the plot might/will be: The story looks workable, the visuals amazing, I can't wait.

    I still think the most badass thing in the episode was the fight between Ward and May when she uses the nail gun to nail his foot to the floor. That was awesome, and the proper use of hte tool too, so cool.

    Nice, I like the way that they tied it into Arrow, and that they are using the supercollider to create the metahumans. Yes it is BS sci-fi, but at least they created a start point.

    Lawson basically said it would bore him to return, aka it was probably just a cameo or him standing around as an aged general.

    I agree RL1, plus they won;t be able to cheat with their planes as bad. MY god some of the things they do with that C-17 are beyond insane and impossible.

    When Dark Empire first came out, I gave it credit for coming up with some original designs to replace the older SW craft. Heck event the much derided Black Fleet Crisis gave us the K-Wing replace the older Y-wing and to a lesser extent, the B-Wing. I just think that the E-wing was not a well thought out design. Those low slung engines were horrible. There was a really cool model kit that came out a few years ago of the E-wing and some of the customs people made from it looked much better.
