    I don't understand. I thought we already HAD an America Transformer. He's red, white, and blue, fights for freedom for all people, and turns into a semi truck, the most american vehicle.

    If that's complete and in decent shape it's around 300 bucks. Working Designs is easily one of my favorite, if not my favorite publisher ever. They put so much passion into their localizations and brought things over to the US way ahead of the times. They were the premium collectors edition before there were premium collectors editions. If this is news for you and you scored it for less, again, great find. If it isn't, I wasn't trying to patronize, and great find.

Studio Series Dropkick or Shatter, one of the myriad Camaro Bumblebees, etc, and just repainted it red, white, and blue with a bald eagle on the hood.

    I think Hasbro missed a major chance with Star Eagle. Why is the toy not called Star Eagle 47 or is colored orange?

    I assume that Irem made the R-Type license open to everyone and for a good price. I now have the gachapon R-Type set by Toys Cabin. They are rather nice, with good metallic colors on the engine bells.

    Near as I can tell, it was for awhile when Peacock was supposed to be making the reboot, but when the reboot died they dropped the older stuff from the platform.

    Apparently PLAMAX used a modeller’s “South Ataria Island” diorama as the backdrop for the VF-1D box art. Very cool.

    There was only one of them. The studio found out doing the show on the cheap was not so cheap. Just about EVERYTHING except the actors was green screen and a few hand held props. The command room "set" was a bunch of banquet tables wrapped in green cloth.

    Just avoid the Scifi seasons. I think all the aerial scenes were stock footage from the real show and the hacked in live shots were terrible with even the lighting being way way off.

    Checking the balance of the stripes against this 1/55 v2.0. Looking at it up close and from afar helps give me a better visual of the subject.

    For all the steaming services out there, there’s a good handful of series that you can’t find on any service. Or in RDM BSG’s case, it was on Prime for a short while, then got shoved behind an additional paywall. 🤷🏻‍♂️
