CRYO
The foot armor had been extended to cover the gap, but nothing had been done on the shield gap

It looks great in all modes, i can't wait to have her on the shelf.

aaajin
Battroid looks awesome, but I think the legs look slightly long. Or maybe its just me, after being accustomed with stubbier legs on Arcadia's 19 vs Yamato'. The shiled couldve/shouldve been made wider and what happened to the articulated knee caps? Are they now being glued to the upper thighs now like arcadia's and yamato's? But the tampoo on the toy looks like its on steroid, which is actually a good thing for most people
brouken
Oh my, this just got bumped onto the number one spot of my 2015 valk want list. :-) But that release date...so close to the Koenig Renewal and the Armored VF-1J...
Vi-RS
While we were complaining how thick the intake is on the Arcadia's, it's interesting to see how Bandai comes up with theirs by having a separate tiny piece attached to fill the gap in fighter mode. IXTL
Proportions and details were overseen by Kawamori. The tampo markings by Tenjin. Edited December 25, 2014 by IXTL
ChaoticYeti
Pictures without the super parts attached, too. I didn't need any more convincing. Now we wait.

Falcon18
The gaps on that leg area don't look that bad to me. I'm fine with it. That pilot looks good too. Seems better than most of their current pilots. Also, love the amount of tampo.

mog_kupo
The next days this topic its going to be full of excitement Then, after the PO madness most of us will be cursing Bandai like drunk pirates So bipolar
MikeRoz
Can't help but notice there are no pictures of the intake area from the underside. That area didn't look particularly tight in the prototype.
Shukenzero
I hope hlj will deliver if NY and AmiAmi don't. They did good by me with the S. Here's hoping Bandai will have enough stock, seeing as they are taking the Macross buyers a little more seriously...

Really hope that you're correct about Bandai with regards to producing enough stock. Can't really tell which mode (Battroid or Fighter) looks better, both look OK but neither are knocking my socks off right now. -b.
xrentonx
Finally! A static standing pose without armor so we can take a good look at the proportions. No trickery with the dynamic poses That said, Battroid mode isn't as good as Arcadia's. Legs are a bit off (maybe long?). Anyway, this doesn't stop me from being in for two. It's a VF-19 Advance so it's different enough with the armor and markings for me to have in my collection. See ya all on preorder night Edit: Happy Holidays! Ignacio Ocamica
I must be the only one that doesn't like this VF-19 at all. Proportions are completely off (at least to what I'm used to). Prefer my Arcadia YF-19 so no preorder madness for me.
Mommar
So they had to pick the week AFTER I'm off work for the pre-orders to start.

Prefer my Arcadia YF-19 so no preorder madness for me. I feel ya brother. legs too long, neck too perched, shield too skinny. But I'm more leaning towards being impartial because overall it doesnt look all that bad, to me at least.
Moosey
Holy crap - that Gerwalk with armour is too awesome.
xrentonx
Looking at the pictures more, the legs suffer from Frontier-itis...I like the Frontier Valks but this is supposed to be a 19. It's one of the few complaints I got so far aside from the general gappy-ness.
chyll2
looks like the No Step marking is smaller and more appropriate than the one they used in YF-30. Hopefully I can get a PO on this.
Mizicke5273
Hmm, it definitely looks inferior to Arcadia's without the Super Pack on. The proportions look like way too much like the old Yamato. It is different enough and looks good with the Super Pack though. And the pose they have, with the effect part, looks cool and dynamic!
Scream Man
I think the proportions are longer yes, but not as bad as on the older 19. The length here is more across the whole unit than just the leg/hip area, at least to my eye.
F360
The proportions definitely looks better than the older Yamato YF-19 for me. I like this more and more just by the pic updates alone, and the price is really sweet too.
Sandman
Yay intake warnings are tampooed. I hope we're not paying extra for the pin point punch effect. I can do without and would rather pay less. Looking at the pictures more, the legs suffer from Frontier-itis...I like the Frontier Valks but this is supposed to be a 19. I agree the legs look very frontier like to me. Not exactly sure why. Still overall i like it and is good enough considering the alternative.
