edit: found higher resolution pics

Are these prototypes? Or did they switch the gray internal parts? If they are officially white now, I'll probably just get the B. That contrast was part of why I liked it more.

Where did you see pics with gray internals? Aaaaah there they are. The original pics from page 1 show the top pieces were dark gray.

Hmm, not sure which I like better. I was thinking I like the new way, but also like the contrast you're talking about.

I hope that's just a test version. The way it is on Yamato's site is how it should be colored.

I agree the grey areas in the original pics add some nice contrast. The line art (from the mecha manual) shows grey so I hope that they stick with that.

I also like the grey internal bits better, as well as the slightly off-white of the earlier photos. I guess we'll find out it a week or so what it really looks like.

I think the off-white is just the result of white balancing issues with the photos. The entire photo has a yellowish tint to it.

True. Maybe they're trying to show what the bone-white plastic will look like after a few years. :p

That said, I certainly wont be disappointed with bone-white. It's the main reason I bought the VF-1A TV Max and the unpainted VF-1S.

I think the all white may be more anime accurate

i like the gray internals more, but since i cant buy anything for at least 6 months to a year, waiting for reviews to come out, pll to get tired of this, and get a new color scheme, and i get it at a great deal, cant fuss about it now ;)

All white is OK I guess, but it makes it look so plain. Hopefully they put more tampo printing on then. It would be awesome if they tampo on the engine intake decals at the very least.

While I like my valks anime accurate in terms of colors (in this case white), there is one major reason why for yamato's valks I like it slightly grey instead: yellowing.

I worry for all the pure white valks I have... and the GBP armor...

I think for the internal coloring, it should be same as the yamato website's pics, plus the display set seems like a bit like prototype samples, and if i am not wrong the pilot seems not colored..

Fast forward two years...

...it's now the VF-11C thread #4.

Everyone is posting pictures...

...of the VF-11C w/ Protect Armor set.

People are talking how about how awesome...

...it looks next to the GBP-1 and Armored VF-25S.

Yes. That would be great if Yamato do the Protect Armor.
