sh9000 Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 (edited) I have the arsenal set preordered. I can't wait for the Dark Horse AVP comic figures from NECA. Especially Machiko. Edited June 8, 2017 by sh9000
Axelay Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Holy cow do those Dark Horse AVP figures look amazing...!
sh9000 Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Yeah I might just order the set of 3 at bigbadtoystore and combine the pile of loot with other stuff and $4 flat rate shipping. Cool pic.

Axelay Posted June 27, 2017 Posted June 27, 2017 Well, I'm in for both of those... A random question for fans of the first Predator movie: I can't believe I never really thought about this after having seen this so many times, but I recently started to wonder where exactly are Dutch's teammates keeping their ammo? Mac might be the only exception, as he has pouches all over his vest and a belt-carried ammo box. Anybody (or any site) ever attempted to extrapolate how many rounds are fired by each person throughout the movie and then determine how many magazines each person should be carrying? I know it's an overly picky thought, but it's not going to diminish my love for the movie in any way.
Graham Posted June 27, 2017 Posted June 27, 2017 That's one of the things that bugs me about action movies, when the heroes fire high round counts but are not shown carrying spare ammo and never or seldom shown reloading. And if they do have mag pouches on their vests, they are obviously empty. And don't get me started on plate carriers without plates.....LOL
Big s Posted June 27, 2017 Posted June 27, 2017 This is a very common issue with action films. It's best not to ask or you'll be disappointed by the answer.
sh9000 Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 Damn I'll be getting this set too. Bring on the rest of the Colonial Marines.

Axelay Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Well that's a creative use of that Marine body... I suppose I will be trying to get this. Really wish some of the other Marines would agree to let their likenesses be used.

seti88 Posted July 20, 2017 Posted July 20, 2017 (edited) Pretty nice lineup..http://news.toyark.com/2017/07/19/sdcc-2017-gallery-neca-aliens-predator-260305 Edited July 20, 2017 by seti88
Mommar Posted July 20, 2017 Posted July 20, 2017 The three aliens from the video game look pretty cool. Not sure why they only made the aliens and predators (plus the odd blue one) but not the two human characters from the game.
TangledThorns Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 RIP Sonny Landham. He was 'Billy' in the first Predator. He actually wanted to be a state governor too! http://variety.com/2017/film/news/sonny-landham-dies-dead-predator-1202533278/
Black Valkyrie Posted December 25, 2017 Posted December 25, 2017 Insert coin, press start, Time to Hunt !
Mommar Posted December 25, 2017 Posted December 25, 2017 That's cool but they've already delayed the Predator and Alien releases from the Coin-Op collection. When will Dutch and Linn actually be released?

Valkyrie Hunter D Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Anybody want to chip in to fulfill some Dropship fantasy flights?
sh9000 Posted February 17, 2018 Posted February 17, 2018 I’d be fine if NECA just used that head to make a movie style Sgt. Apone.

Tking22 Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 Not too sure how to feel about this. Predator was an already OP alien, that was the point, they hunted more worthless species, like humans, for sport. Now they are upgrading even more and hybridizing themselves? Okay I guess? This is my problem with a lot of these franchises, they all feel like they have to continuously step their game up, and upgrade their monster. This movie would be fine if it were one OG Predator like in the original Arnold film. Plenty powerful enough, plenty of gadgets, plenty enough challenge for humans using modern weapons and tech. If they want to upgrade and change these stupid Predators so much move these movies into the god damn future so they can finally square off against Colonial Marines in live action, then the Predator would have something to worry about.

TangledThorns Posted May 10, 2018 Posted May 10, 2018 (edited) Looks good, bigger than I expected but I have no idea whats going on really. I just expect good thrilling action like the previous films. I hold Predator at a lower standard than the ALIEN films which have been falling short after 1986. I think what made the original film the best was casting Arnold in it plus it has some awesome quotable lines too. Seriously, 1980s movie had the best quotable lines of any decade of film. Petrov27 Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 Yep pretty good though also a bit of Harold Ramis circa Stripes goin on....
