    Macross figures

I'm super on board for these. I hope they release a Kaname.
  2. Can someone tell my why the Metal Build Freedom Gundam is so much cheaper on the after market than the other MB releases? I heard that the mold itself hat some issues but I couldn't find any comments on what is actually wrong with it or what to look out for if you are handling one. I someone can enlighten me please do so.
  3. Bummer HLJ suspended my account because through a glich in their order system I got a page not found error while the order still went through. I canceled the second Metal Build F91 as soon as I noticed the two orders in my PW and canceled one of them. Hopefully this won't lead to any negative repercussions.
  4. Is there a special link where you can see the items HLJ puts up on a preorder date? I'm unable to find the items through any search engines.
  5. Still no information on the sword? Is it stored inside the add-on parts?

    Bandai DX VF-31

I'm not a fan of how the missile war heads look. The VF-25 Renewal Armor Parts did it best in my opinion.

    Hi-Metal R

Maybe if we buy enough HMR VF-2SS Bandai will have mercy and release a DX version. I need to see the under- and backside of the Valkyrie first before I make a decision to buy.
  8. I don't know. Warper is pretty great. Will see once I ship him from BBTS (in two month or so).

  10. I also prefer Flash in the Dark but Heart and Soul is still one of my favorite M7 songs.
  11. That looks awesome and I will buy it. MMCs Cyclonus does away with Jaegertrons backpack so I hope he will have the same hefty feel as MMCs other bots. There are some reports over at TFW that the plastic on Jaegertron feels not up to par to the rest of the Reformatted line so I hope they fix that. Backdraft was already sub par quality wise so I don't hope this becomes the new norm when talking about MMC. Speaking of MMC one of their designers is trying to kick start a new line of transforming toys called Unrustable Bastards. Complete new IP, transformable motorcycles with a core that also transforms into a smaller bot that can ride said machine: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/882339483/mayhem-mekanics-presents-the-unrustable-batards I'm not a super fan of transforming robots but I will back it because it seems like a fun toy and I want 3rd party transforming robots to grow out of their IP infringing business someday.
  12. After looking a bit more at the images I think this is not a toy for me. First he looks very similar in the legs to MP Laserwave which had a terrible feel in hand. Secondly looking at the back of the toy his construction looks pretty wonky. For starters his left forearm (the one without the Fusion Cannon) seems to consist of three panels rolled up on them which doesn't sit well with me. Next the shoulders also looks hollow from the pictures wich might be an optical illusion. However the alt-mode looks like he will explode in a thousand pieces with no solid robot shapes anywhere so I assume he will be fiddly. Overall I think for my aesthetic preferences Despotron will be a better match for my MP-10 than the official Megatron. I'm not against cartoon focused Masterpiece line but I prefer new additions that fit in with my existing collection. Laserwave, Inferno and now Megatron don't do that as much as 3rd Party offerings do. If he comes out and all my criticisms are not present I might be interested in a repaint of him (preferably black).
  13. Can the fusion cannon on MP Megs only be attached on the front of the forearm and blocking the elbow joint (like TM Galvatron)? My money goes to Despotron. Not a big fan of this one and I prefer the unconventional thinking the designer put into Despotron.
  14. At first I thought there is an armor piece covering up the front of the wings. After looking at the picture on M³ some more I was convinced that it looks that way because of shading and shadows. Now I don't know what to think anymore.
  15. That Space Police I set is probably my most favorite Lego set ever.
  16. Yeah that is nice. Maybe not as nice as the orange Porsche but much more affordable. I'll be shopping tomorrow so maybe I can snatch a deal on this set. :-)
  17. I would love to have a set of Figmas from the Metroid Prime 2 game. They had some pretty awesome designs. Love the Light and Dark Suit. The one from Metroid Fusion is also very organic and something different. I'm up for a variety of different suits and weapon effect sets.
  18. Here is the general Lego thread: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=35753&page=4&hl=lego#entry1124351 I might be in for the green 24h Race Car Technic set. I'm also really interested in the Porsche set that was released recently. But it is a bit to expensive and big so it seems unlikely I can smuggle him into my toy collection.
  19. I would be on board if they can provide a full set of figures of the Super Street Fighter 2 roaster. It's no use when they only release a few figures.
  20. That looks so cool but sadly I don't need a SoC Voltron in my collection.
  21. I think I know where he is coming from. I can understand why the toy feels a tad flimsy. If you compare it with other collector toys like some of the Masterpiece Transformers, 3rd party transforming robots or SoC releases the VF-1 feels light in comparison. And thus flimsy while handling it especially when transforming the legs. However you have to keep in mind that the VF-1 has do do a lot more stuff than other releases. First it is a very small and slim toy. This means the legs don't have much room to accommodate the sliding foot, the fully functional landing gear and the Gerwalk and knee joints. This means that if they want to be close to the line art the legs have to make sacrifices somehow. Another point is that the VF-1 has a predefined transformation that you have to adhere to thus the shoulder joints are a flimsy by the line art. The VF-1 also include a lot of stuff that other transforming toys don't have. Besides the landing gear there is the incorporated cockpit canopy, the layered chest piece and the mechanisms for the swing bar. If you want a similar toy that feels much heftier I would go with Arcadias VF-0S which is also a larger jet.
