    I really wished Bandai would include new articulated hands with the Super Parts. Some that actually can hold the gun and don't break during transformation. This goes also for the VF-31 toys. I love absolutely everything else about the Siegfried but the hands really dampen my enjoyment of the toy. But no new shoulder parts with the VF-171 Armor Parts mean no new hands with the Delta DX releases. Bandai really has no way of acknowledgement when they screwed up.

    Nothing is work with Guardians, I enjoyed the first movie quite a bit. However I also liked the more medieval/magic Kingdom vibe the Thor movies had. The trailer strikes me more of an executive thinking Guardians memes are popular on the Internet right now so we give them more of that. This is just a trailer so the movie itself could be quite different and I'm looking forward watching Thor Ragnarok in cinemas.

    Is it possible to transform the legs of MP Megatron first without doing any transformation on the upper body? All the reviews I've seen so far transform the upper body first without tucking the arm assemblies in and then transform the legs.

    Does anyone has experience with taking Black Series figures apart. I've got a replacement for my Darth Revan that has a missing paint app from BBTS. Sadly the replacement figure has other paint blemishes so I need to transplant one leg. I'm afraid that I will rip the figure apart while trying to do so. Any tips on how to get it out without damaging the toy? I thought maybe heating it up with a hairdryer or hot water might do the trick but I'm unsure how the soft goods on the figure will react to that.

    Thanks for the reply. They still stand out now but somehow I think it won't look that jarring once I have him in hand and knowing that they are not gate marks. From the pictures they really look like someone painted a die-cast piece with the funnels still attached an removed the afterwards. What is really magical in the transformation is that almost nothing of the robot mode is indicative of Megatrons alt-mode. I love how the trigger guard becomes the front of the shin, how the shoulders become rectangular blocks from gun parts or the inside of the guns handle fold up to Megatron looking feet. The only gun part from the front is the barrel. On the other hand this might also be the greatest downfall of the transformation since I like to see what my Transformers are made of. The iconic chest windows and smoke stacks on Prime or the canopy and wings on Starscream. For me the center section of the gun is Megatrons chest and the head sits on top of the rounded barrel piece in the middle. Since MP Shockwave was brought up I wished that Takara gave him the same paint treatment as Megatron. Especially since Shockwaves transformation is much much simpler and you don't have many parts scraping against each other because there is not as much separation in the alt-mode going on. I probably won't transform Megatron once I have him in hand. Too scary. Especially since Despotron is such a joy to transform. I probably will give him a special place in my collection together with the upcoming MP-40 Convoy Anime Version. There have been rumors that a new Prime is in the works to match with this Megatron which seems a tad odd since MP-10 was reissued to go with the release of Megatron. However considering the re-released MP-1 shortly before MP-10 this is not unheard of. If Takara does an new Convoy mold I would love to have double jointed elbows and knees as well as a flatter truck bed that covers the Crotch of Prime as well a way to hide the feet better. I don't know why hiding the feet is such an issue on Prime.

    I'm glad they are releasing the Max and Milia set. I'm down for one each. On the other side I'd much prefer Milias VF-1J from M7 but what can you do.

    Can someone who has MP36 in hand tell me what those marks are: They look like gate marks to me but someone over at the TFW boards said that MP36 doesn't habe visible gate marks like Ultra Magnus. So I'm curious what they are. They also seem to be present on every copy of the toy. Of course I might have not understood the context of that comment so I might be wrong.

    I was thinking hat I was extremely lucky that I got a preorder in for every release. Now only three VF-31 and maybe two Pope head SV-626 remain that I want to acquire for my Delta collection. I'm getting anxious that I won't have that much luck for all the other releases. I'm curious to see how the availability of the VF-31F and C are gonna be after release. It was quite ok for the J and Keiths vehicle.

    Saw it today. It was ok I guess. However now I feel the need to watch the Movie from 1995 again but I only have the VHS release and no VHS player anymore. Onwards to Amazon.

    Paik4Life did an excessive video review on MP-36 Megatron. To sum my thoughts up: lots of paint scraps, lots of clearance issues, lots of QC issues, lots of potential breaking points. I hope Takaras factories are up to speed for this design because this looks like it has the potential to be a worse nightmare than MP-9 Rodimus Convoy :

    That transformation... looks like Kobayashi madness. Worse than MP-9 Rodimus Convoy. On the one hand I'm intrigued by the engineering and all the moving bits but it doesn't look like fun to play with Megatron at all. The Hasui run of MP Transformers where such enjoyable toys and this is such a departure from that line that I don't know what to think about it. It also looks like he is very prone to scratches. Maybe this was a factory reject that is why the review is available before the release of the toy but I could make out several areas of the toy where you can already see scratches. Minor rant: can someone at Takara please interfere when the mold designer thinks it is a good idea to have gate marks on highly visible areas of the toy. The Megatron has two big gate marks on the front of the chest where you can see the bare die cast of the pieces. It is even worse than MP-22 Ultra Magnus.

    I've got my SHF Ninja Turtles today and they are great. I would absolutely recommend them if you have any attachment to the 90s TMNT cartoon. And I want more. I want Shredder, Krang, Slash, Metalhead, Foot Soldiers, April, even the small brat that wished to be a Ninja Turtle. No that this is out of the way there are some odd choices with these toys. The first one is Donatellos staff where they opted not to paint the strap beige (or cast it in beige and paint the staff brown to avoid paint rubbing). If I had to guess the reason for this decision the design team for the Turtles probably looked up Donatello on google image search and the first images showed the bo staff and the strap in the same color. The next baffling ting are the replacement belts for holding their weapons. From looking at the toys it seems like Leonardos is cast in brown not matching the color of the painted belt. Donatellos is cast in green and painted brown not matching the color of the belt. Raphaels is cast in brown plastic (although it could be painted but I don't see any green plastic showing on the piece) matching the brown belt and Michelangelos is painted brown matching the color of the belt. So they got it right with the last Turtle they released. Other than that the only criticism that I have is that I wished for a bit more range in the articulation since they are Ninjas and do crazy poses and I wished they had painted their color coded head bands and such had a coat of paint on them to give the toys a more premium feel. I also wished one of the Turtles came with a Turtle Communicator. I always loved that design. Oh well maybe one of the next figures (if they happen) will come with one. Since I had the original toys as a kid I also would loved to have the Turtles to have different skin tones to give them more individuality. Since the design team tried to recreate the cartoon look I can understand why they are all the same color though.

    Maybe Bandai was scared that the customer sees Mirages Valkyrie and the soon to be Arcadia SV-51 Nora Custom both on the shelf and he would mix up the two toys buying the Arcadia one instead

    I have the MP-36 on preoder but on the other hand I had the chance to open my MakeToys Despotron today and I don't know if I need an official MP Megatron anymore. Despotron is just so nice and as a bonus he has a fun transformation for an Megatron that turns into an accurate gun. Love the lateral thinking of the MakeToys designer he put into this piece.

    Got my Black Series Darth Revan today and luck has it that one of his toes is not painted. What a great start for my first Black Series Figure. Easy enough to fix with a Gundam marker I guess. I like that he came with two light sabers and he will fit right into my Darth Revan collection. He is ok for what he cost ($25) but now I carve for a SHF version of Revan (female body) On the other hand I think I like my Lego minifig of him better even if he is that much smaller and I payed more for him.

    Bummer. I'm probably unable to preorder this one if the release date is in September. Oh well I guess I need to snag one for a mark-up on release date. I hope they fix the color though. If it is really red I will put it in my (non existing) Milia collection. She could probably havoc more destruction with the Siegfried in a single fight than Mirage did in the whole Delta series. What I also hope they fix is the $&"ยง$%-hands on the VF-31. There is nothing wrong with the VF-25 Renewal hands. I don't know why Bandai decided to change that. -.-
