  2. I ordered one of the special edition Gokin stands for it last night. I mean sure the launch stand looks kinda cool, I thing the wobbly stands from the Bandai ones are better. After that I just need to make a friend with a 3d printer so I can make an adapter for my 1/48. I can see my God of Flame on the shelf right past my monitor and it looks pretty. Some joints are worryingly tight and others could be a little tighter. I do strongly dislike how they handled the boosters attachment, just seems like there are better ways to do that. If it hadnt been for the extra missiles and the stand, I would have bought the standard version. I'd say Im about 90% happy with it, without the stand Id say 95%.

  4. Those both look fabulous from the renders. Can we hope for a completed Computron within the next decade? 🤔 I'm truly shocked how long it's taken anyone to attempt Masterpiece-style Technobots... while the unending flood of Constructicons continues to drown the market. 🙄
  5. So according to P-Bandai the release of the ATH-P-RSC Bloodsucker is on the 17th... I'm pretty sure the package for the ATH-P-RSC Bloodsucker and B-ATM-03 FATTY will be deeper then the normal Scopedogs!
  6. Yeah, that what the VF-31 should look like. The AX toy has a lot of sharp or pointy edges, not as nice to hold. Besides I like the canopy profile of the Siegfrieds better than the Kairos Plus.
  7. While I have the head for FT’s Fortress Maximus I have no desire to own the whole thing. Like their Omega Supreme this is just too big for my likings. However, it is nice to see that FansToys is still able to sculpt some details into large surfaces. After having two of the FT Constructicons in hand and after seeing what Takara is doing with MPG Style Gen I hoped that FansToys would tone down their bland toon design a bit in favor of more interesting and better proportioned sculpts. But no, they announced Computron (Strafe and Nosecone) and they are their G1 cartoon selves. At least they look not like arbitrary shapes:
  8. Now THAT's a labor of love! 😅 I like the eye detail.
  9. I just have some alternative stands already, don't need this one, and don't expect to ever use it. It would just be a shame if someone had a 1/60 Yamato/Arcadia/Valkyrie Factory and needed one while mine sat in a box gathering dust.
  10. I could take it leave the Jet Jaguar fig, but anything that makes Megatron look like Godzilla and not just dark gray Grimlock is a win in my book.

  12. This reminds me. I should really document my "interpretation" of the transformation to make it accurate in all forms, with ms paint or something, before I forget everything I thought up.
  13. Yeah, this is 100% what the Siegfrieds should have looked like the entire time. Those forward-swept winglets never did look quite right, and what a miss it was to not have the protagonists use a delta-wing VF in a series named Delta. They fixed it in the second movie with the VF-31AX Kairos Plus at least.

  15. Awesome job! 🔥
  16. That is a VF-1D tho. She is dressed as in Ep 27. For the first song. I'm too in for Shammy. ATM I don't remember any episodes where she is wearing that color of uniform.
  17. Caught the latest episodes of Cultural Exchange with a Game Centre Girl, See You Tomorrow at the Food Court, and started a new series Ruri Rocks. Pretty happy with all three, TBH. Ah yes, the ever-present threat of magical bowling balls. How could I forget? 😆
  18. Yeah, I’m just curious about how well they get that grumpy face
  19. I don't tend to use a lot of stands for anything, but I was pretty happy to get one with the Fugu version. I just never could justify the price to get one of the original Yamato ones, but I'm happy to have one if I ever do want to use it for something.
  20. Looks great! 👍
  21. Macross 7 definitely works better as a weekly series. It's not something that benefits from watching multiple episodes in one sitting or a full-on marathon to get through it as quickly as possible. That slow burn start of very nearly 20 episodes is a pain in the butt, in no small part due to the early lack of musical variety, but it does a good job of getting all the main characters established before the plot proper kicks off with the creation of Sound Force. I'd actually recommend watching Macross Dynamite 7 and the Macross 7 movie The Galaxy is Calling Me!. They're much tighter, self-contained stories than the main series and some of what goes on there is a little bit important later on. At least in other side stories.
  22. Slightly OT, but I will soon be in receipt of a minty fresh copy of the Deluxe stand from the Fugu (which is a KO of the Yamato launch stand), and which I have no need of should anyone be in the market for one...
  23. As Arcadia is arguably better in build than Yamato, at least for those valkyries that have been released under both brands in the same scale, you can rest assured it doesn't meet the Arcadia standard. In my opinion, it's >80% the way to being comparable.
