    Probably owes a fair bit to how most anime licensing flows through the US, and the US distribution situation immediately screwed it up by splitting the license up among multiple companies.

    Oh wow. I didn't know that there was an HG Sirbine. A couple of years ago I built the Max Factory Sirbine kit, which was a plastic recreation of their bestselling Sirbine sofubi kit from the garage kit days. It's a non-poseable figure kit and has a sculpture of a nude woman on the shield that's rather exquisite. It's quite an incredible kit.

    Boy.. I still think the nacelles are really the only part of that that kind of mostly work... Secondary hull isn't too bad, but the saucer is just a giant eye-sore. Whose idea was it to scatter little brown triangles on it like they were intended to be there? All they do is highlight the fugly angled garbage going on. For all the work they put into making the actual edge of the saucer shape work, the rest of it feels like a complete aesthetic failure. I can't look at it without just immediately picking out dozens of little places where I can't understand why they chose the pieces they did, when a very obvious alternative would have looked much better.

    I'm so sorry to hear the news @pengbuzz. You are amazing at creating works of art from literally nothing (or just masking tape), I hope there is a remission in the future because you deserve the break. Maybe a miracle can be created out of thin air - you have always surprised me regarding what you can do. I don't know much about cancer, but know stage 3 is better than stage 4 so I hope something can be done about it. Stay positive.     They're really going to try everything before getting around to the Revival Luca RVF-25 drop. This is going to be nearly $300 (from domestic shops) for a -31 without supers. On one hand the -31 isn't my favorite, but on the other the paint scheme is nice. I'm on the fence. Maybe I'll wait for an Amazon deal or a good USAGS coupon.

    So I'm not the only one. It used to be that once I got notice that they had the item in the warehouse and I paid the shipping, they'd send it out in a few days. I guess I'll email them.

    Looks great. This is one of those times Bandai will get my $$. I don't recall any big issues with QC on the first 31-A , so i'm hoping it's a solid production.

    Considering how fiercely sought-after the original DX VF-31A release was, I imagine this'll be fairly well-received. It's still the best looking of all the VF-31s, ironically.

    Another freaking reissue. At least it's something I might actually buy. Though I'm worried that it will have worse QC than the original release because pretty much all of Bandai's releases post-covid have had spotty QC, at best.
