    First time spraying Gaia lacquers. This is Prism Blue Black over MR Hobby mahogany surfacer. Finished it off with Mr Color flat topcoat. It’s hard to capture on phone photos. The color when a flat topcoat is applied makes the paint appear dark blue, almost black and has this satin/velvety texture when light hits it just right. I’m loving it. My hope is it will provide a nice contrast to the underlying glossy gray frame and rib like details.

    Well..... That went as well as it possibly could have I think... Mission Models Gunship Gray thinned with Tamiya Acrylic thinner. I've been working on retraining my brain 🧠 to LET the airbrush do the work, don't worry about getting in super close to the model to get all the little areas. Cover it lightly as best you can then go in a little heavier then go in a 3rd time and try to get any spots you missed. Seems to have worked pretty well. These battleships are a very different beast when it comes to the painting... PATIENCE is a virtue young padawan! Coming from painting air planes and space ships I've had to learn that...

    Looks like a simple enough mod for the top one. The second one though, I'm not sure what's going on with the arms or if it even makes sense to have that much articulation on a forklift, with a fist in the way too lmao. But it sure does look awsome. Those forks could have been arm blades or one of those pronged beam guns lol I always wished Kawamori did more with these. They get so llittle screen time its hard to even tell or remember how they look lol. If he can turn the monster into a transformable plane, I'm sure he can at least turn cheyenne into a tank or apc. He's done valk but with car in his Last Hope Pandora anime before, so that's not even much of a stretch to ask for.

    3D-printing allows you to manipulate digital models at a level of detail impossible to achieve by hand, and upscaling presents the opportunity to achieve accuracy far beyond what commercial toys or models are capable of. The potential is limitless. It's insane he upscaled such an inaccurate, low-resolution model, when there are so many better options available. He didn't even bother to replace the astromech! 🤨 At 1:6th scale, R2-D2 should be a thing of beauty, not an abomination like that. 🫣 And don't even get me started on that cockpit... 😧 What a bizarre waste of time and resources.

    I have not built this one yet. That is going to be a project for tomorrow. I have had a couple of BLOKEES kits and they are a quick and easy build. I am really happy with the results. I ordered the YOLOPARK - Transformers: Rise of the Beast AMK PRO Arcee model kit which looks great in photos.
