  1. Past hour
  2. That’s amazing. I don’t know how to ride a motorcycle but I’d be tempted learn if this were a commercial product.
  3. Well, that was predictable... https://gizmodo.com/star-trek-starfleet-academy-canceled-paramount-2000736976 Star Trek: Star Feet Academy... er... Starfleet Academy has officially been cancelled by Paramount. The show's second season, filming of which concluded just a few weeks ago at the end of February, will be its last. It seems likely that low viewership and overall poor audience reception motivated the show's cancellation. The series probably would not have gotten a second season had Paramount not overconfidently rushed a second season into production before the first was even out. For now, the future of Star Trek appears to be up in the air with several pitches that all seem unlikely to reach production including: Star Trek: Legacy, a Picard spinoff/sequel starring post-character derailment Seven of Nine as Captain of the Enterprise-G. Star Trek: Year One, a Strange New Worlds spinoff/sequel that is a de facto soft reboot of Star Trek: the Original Series. A yet-untitled live action comedy series Tawny Newsome is working on featuring workers on the pleasure planet Risa.

  6. Good to know! Maybe I can apply my PO to other products like the armored figures or recon pod.
  7. I also received an email last night saying my part was being shipped! Looking forward to it
  8. Hello, so I just received an email from ThreeZero warranty department that they had sent me out my replacement warranty “part”. I had purchased one of the VF-1S transforming toys that had quite a few QC issues. Broken canopy, air brake issue, etc. back in November. I communicated with them for warranty replacement/fix. They basically said due to tariff’s they were unable to ship out anything, so tough, basically. I’m a little afraid to see what they are sending to me. Guess I will find out eventually….. Twich
  9. my friend got it and paid $750 for it after import shipping and fees. That's insane.
  10. The Auroran is a VERY complex design: the kind of project that separates the pros from the amateurs, much like the Bioroids and the Spartas. It's one thing when they can copy someone's homework (albeit badly, most times) but when they have to figure it all out on their own, it's usually a clusterfrack.

  12. I have asked for a refund for my GBP PO. Got it in my bank already.
  13. I’ve shared this with a few of you before, but to add some Macross related love…this a picture with my favorite tail design while on the USS Eisenhower (CVN-69) in 2012. Unfortunately, I did not get to fly with them. That would have been pretty cool.
  14. I really admire work like this and truly appreciate the labor of love that goes into it. Very talented builder. Just hate when a small detail is missed or incorrectly done after all is said and done.
  15. Honestly, this is probably one of the first times I've looked at a Bandai valk and not had issues with the tampo situation. They usually splatter everything to high heaven with excessive markings, so it's refreshing to see them show some restraint, and just stick with what's in the animation (which is incredibly minimal). They arguably even did a better job than Yamato in this case, since they printed the kites on the spine. I can appreciate Yamato wanting to give folks the option to go entirely low-vis on a "stealth" valk, but I would rather just have it look like the animation (and can't stand stickers). Sadly, that's about the only thing I'd say they got right. I'm not going to hold my breath for more releases, but I was really hoping we'd get Ray's two-seater out of the deal, since that would at least be something new. I'm still hoping we actually get the band trio out of this eventually, but right now I'd honestly be more interested in more VF-19s or a VF-11 of some flavor. Edit: Also, now that I actually see it, screw you Bandai. You and your patented explodium-based plastic can both go drown yourself in the sun. As if I needed even more reasons to never transform this thing..
  16. not hacchaka, but quite a detailed review (incl transformation process details): https://toroplus.blog/tyougoukinn/vf17s-nightmare/ it's in jp, so you'll need to have a web-translation app or extension. sample web-translated snaps:
  17. That some wild bunch of modifications to such a simple kit

I believe it is a tool to get the fist covers out of the forearms (the gray triangles on the left side of the tray.
  19. There’s some talented builders out there.
  20. Riding into the Mando and Grogu movie hype. Do I need explain who these characters are or are we like illiterate and need some one to read it and tell who they are to us?!?
  21. So. What's the support bar accessory for?
  22. Content index of the Hobby Japan Magazine if anyone is interested.... release is on the 25th. although Amazon JP already shipped mine. 🤗 Closeup of the decal sheet!
  23. Just a heads up - the April 2026 issue of Hobby Japan will be a focus on the Perfect Grade Unleashed Nu Gundam and the 45th anniversary of Gunpla: I'm sure it'll be a great reference for any others that scored the latest PG kit.
  24. Hard is a relative term. It took me almost 2 years to get to the level of comfort I have with the tools and the workflow. The issue is the workflow. Importing models is relatively simple once you have the project and SDK set up and start your basic plane project. Setting up the SDK and then creating the project tutorial plane is also not straight-forward and will take several sessions of AI coding assistant to help. I recommend using Microsoft Copilot as it has access to most of the MSFS2020 SDK and can reduce the learning curve and even generate basic plane templates. A good portion of the work is creating the flight model correctly and realistic. You can have your VF model imported but it may fly like a bi-plane if you stick to tutorial craft. None of the flight surfaces will move or animate with your controls until you create the animations and bind them to the planes XML configurations, which is a whole SDK to learn. I am considering making a Macross builder/boilerplate craft template for purchase that will have some of the hard-work already done in terms of the flight model, cameras, lighting, animation bindings, some transformation sequence placeholders. I also will be starting a patreon where I will make some craft available.
  25. My intended point was that previously they have spent a lot of effort in making sure their AI upscaler's output still looked like it was game output, and now they're just letting it do whatever. It has been freed from the constraints that were needed to make people think it was ever a good idea, in an attempt to create a feature that goes beyond upscaling and into "enhancement".
