    I don't know if they'll release more HoS figures or not (I think people will be upset if we don't at least get Shockwave), and knowing Hasbro I doubt repaints are off the table. But the impression I got from Evan is that this line is going to crank out versions of Optimus/Megatron/Bumblebee/Starscream until they stop making money.

    Glad it feels solid at least, it certainly doesn't look like it should be. It kind of looks like someone looked at the original VF-1, saw the VF-2SS, and went, "Hey, what if we take that older one and update it so it looks more like the same kind of sloppy collection of robot parts cosplaying as an aircraft as the newer one?" "Brilliant!"

    Since I don’t collect the regular characters of the Hearts of Steel robots but their repaints I really would like a Nemesis Prime/Skywarp and Cliffjumper/Galvatron repaints of these so I can compare them to my MMC/Mech Planet versions (sans Galvatron). However, wasn’t it announced by Hasbro that these Timelines releases are meant for evergreen characters? I always took this as no repaints (but it could also mean repaints are a possibility but no molds for minor characters like the Insecticon train).

    DX VF-27 Revival

    So the thing about the VF-27 is that it never got a true renewal version like the 25 where it was redesigned from the ground up. The "renewal" 27 was just a slightly tweaked V1 DX from the original terrible Frontier toys, and the revival is just a slightly tweaked version of that. Which means the revival is essentially a 15 year old toy design, older than the 25 renewals. And the stripes on the hip plates are still wrong.

    I think I skipped The Predator and don’t remember much of the AVP movies. In fact, I’m not even sure I saw Requiem. I remember Predator 1and 2, Predators and Prey though.

    Added a few more 3.75” figures and the big red painted beast on the bottom row: It’s a bit of an extreme angle because the of shelf dimensions and because I wanted to add the blue versions in there too.
