    Tbc, the minifigs aren't what I truly care about - I really would love a large-scale Helicarrier display to pose my micro-build robots on. I love the Helicarrier, to the point that I suspect it's why I find battleships so cool in mecha.

    I've wanted a redo of the original UCS Helicarrier for years, and now that we have it.... it's not really that much better, and it's $100 more expensive. Man. Man. I could probably swing this if it was $300, but $400 is just... more than is really worth it to me, even with those amazing minifigs.

    I finished the Orange Cat Blaster. I took the lazy route and didn't paint the white parts. The surface finish was so good, I couldn't beat that with paint. But the red parts got a candy coat treatment and it really elevates the overall appearance IMO. I chose a pale gold instead of the gaudy yellow for the decorations. The size is quite good: I thought the lighting didn't work at first, but you have to connect all of the LEDs first, and there's a "power-up" mode that activates them in sequence and chages their colors. Still have to figure out how the magnetic switch works properly.

    So Winter Season is mostly wrapped up. a few from this season.. Sousou no Frieren 2nd Season - starting things off.. the best thing of this season IMO. Some anime original stuff here as some filler, but the buildup to the City of Gold was done very well. I am kinda surprised 2nd season did not capstone with that arc, having said that.. that story would require more then 1 or 2 episodes.. I am expecting more, especially with the way the prologue hints to it. 9/10 Sentenced to Be a Hero - Kinda mixed on this one, it started out very strongly but I think it really started losing its overall direction halfway through it. I am in for 2nd season which was already announced. 6/10 An Adventurer's Daily Grind at Age 29 - This could have gone sideways real fast, but ended up actually being pretty wholesome. Mrs. Liked this one alot, it had its good points and some pretty good humor. 7/10 Wash It All Away - Another one that got the approval from the Mrs. 2 in 1 season.. that is rare. Honestly its not bad, better then most of the other slop out as of late. I'd recommend it if your looking for slice of life type anime. 7/10 The Demon King's Daughter is Too Kind!! - meh. lost interest after 5 episodes and it sounds like it didn't get any better. You Can't Be In a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends! - verdict is still out on this.. kinda lost interest after episode 4 or 5, I may come back around to it again.. this one did NOT get the seal of approval from the Mrs. A few still wrapping.. will add them later. Debating Oshi no Ko S3, S2 left a bad taste in my mouth and I have not heard much about S3.

    Exciting and unexpected! It's been a while since they released the VF-25 series. As I said elsewhere, this gives me some hope they'll also finally do Armored VF-25 (and Armored VF-31 later).

    True, 1/48 VF-25 and VF-31 would also be cool. I just really want VF-1D since it should be an easy variant of existing VF-1 kits, and YF-21 is really needed to pair with 1/48 YF-19. I'd actually really like 1/48 VE-1 and VT-1 also.

    I am going to have SOOOO much fun mocking this thing, it is so ugly when put next to the VF19. and Yes I did buy it. On tfw2005 there is a pic with fire bomber minis on the stage and that actually looks really good. I may have to hunt those figures down.

    My other guess would be a nightmare? (Hathaway probably doesn't have fond memories of the Nu Gundam after all). Apologies if I sound a bit oblivious. I'm not as familiar with some of the additional material as I am with the actual shows/films.

    If anyone is getting anything from Factory Entertainment figures, is worth forking out $350 USD for a that very crappy looking figure? Yes.. It’s that same factory that’s getting the huge backlash for the AI doctored Mummy, JP figures, and to top it off just who’s also helping them out to a degree? Six Scale Mafia (Anthony) did a podcast with Factory Entertainment and the CEO told that the company didn’t use AI doctored figures to spruce them up from Iron Studios statues (clearly that they did), plus he didn’t know about his own copy of HT 1/6 Young Ashoka Tano has movable eyes when he got it at hand (so clearly that this CEO of Factory Entertainment didn’t know Jack Squat about collecting 1/6 dolly’s).

    Maybe someone could create a 3-d printed leg-only GBP clam-shell type wrap option for this to display in G/B mode. With the lack of tampo, it is just a color match issue. POC it and post it on the Bandai twitter page. Bandai could then make one themselves for 5000 yen, market it as the Anime Enhanced release or some nonsense. When Graham lets go a VF-17 I know there is trouble!

    You know... after watching parts of this video, I actually don't feel as bad about receiving my preorder when it arrives. The plane mode looks okay to me. And since most of my stuff is displayed in fighter mode anyway, it won't look ugly among them.
