    My take on Filoni is that he is good when it comes to animated series, much less so with live-action. I really like Clone Wars, Rebels and Bad Batch. Of the live action series, I only really enjoyed The Mandalorian season 1 and to a certain extent Skeleton Crew. I know a lot of people love Andor, but I just couldn't finish it. I tried to get through season 1, 3 times, but kept falling asleep on I think episode 5 or 6. 😅 Haven't tried watching season 2 yet. Dreck like The Acolyte, Ahsoka, Obi Wan and The Book of Boba Fett have done a great job of turning me off a franchise I've loved since the 70s.😓

    No tracking yet, but I did get a note from BBTS that my Miriya should ship soon. I will definitely give them credit for working to honor their original prices as much as possible, they said the tariff change would basically be adding $3.00 to my price, which I have no trouble with. I was expecting it to be far more than that.

    You had me curious, @davidwhangchoi. I do the vast majority of my computing on my desktop. In fact, I could have got a much more powerful laptop for less money than the G14, but the G14 is one of the most actually portable gaming laptops on the market and I need my laptop to fit in a bag I can comfortably carry from Pittsburgh all the way to my in-laws' place in Beijing. So, like Az, I tend to use headphones with it (even though I'm fine using my ancient Logitech 5.1 setup on my desktop). Anyway, not a professional test with an LLT labs-style graph or anything, but I played some music on it. Overall, I'd say the speaker built-in are pretty good! It gets pretty loud, the bass is a tad heavy but not muddy, the highs are clear, but the mids are a little thin. If I weren't so lazy I'd dig out my Macbook Air and do an A-B test before confidently stating that Apple still has the best laptop speakers, but the G14 still destroys the crappy speakers in my wife's laptop, or the built-in speakers on my ROG Ally X.

    Granted, security in Star Trek is usually a bit of a joke... but it's swiss cheese even by those low standards in Starfleet Academy. Normally, unauthorized computer access leads to an alarm, to security finding out almost immediately, and subsequently getting busted (e.g. TNG "The Wounded", "The Hunted", DS9 "Civil Defense", "Broken Link"). The Athena's 800 years more advanced than the Enterprise-D or Defiant and Caleb, a cadet with no security clearance to speak of, breaks into the ship's comms to send an unauthorized transmission to his mommy and doesn't even get caught until hours later when pirates attack the ship because of it. He then proceeds to break into the ship's computers multiple times a day to go AWOL and is only caught hours after the fact. Even the hologram set up specifically to stop him leaving the campus without permission is defeated with comical ease...

    I think of my Season 1 and Season 2 Autobot cast, I'm really only missing Swoop and Gears.........and everywhere I look they want an astronomical amount of money. I guess technically Skids, but I really don't count him as existing due to his 3 seconds of show time he's ever had. My Season 1 and 2 Decepticon cast I believe I'm just missing Rumble (blue......he's ALWAYS BEEN BLUE!) again, Astronomical price. Well I mean there's the new combaticon set but I'm not really counting them cause they're just to out of my price range and I still have combiner wars, and they're decent. Sadly even going to top tier places like Toy Dojo, I come up massively short.

    I saw in multiple notebook comparison tests from Just Josh's channel, the macbooks have by far the best audio out all of the notebooks ranked. They have the best trackpads too. The only drawback for Macs and (Snapdragon processors) are pc gaming compatibility from his channel rankings laptops. i was able to connect my air pods pro 2. often times i forget to bring it. Acer Predator Helios neo speakers universally are ranked one of the worst speakers by every reviewer. my iphone 17 pro sounds better and as loud.     Glad you got the sarcasm. Actually though, I'd be alright with it if it was maybe under $200. It's not like Miriya is a super hard cel to find. Rarer in her helmet, sure, but IMO, that takes away from the character than makes it more valuable.

    I don’t always agree with what he’s got to say, but sometimes a drunken opinion is fun for entertainment, even when I think there are times where he’s too harsh on some projects and not critical enough on others, I just look at as silly opinions rather than serious reviews

    Really nice display. I’m surprised that with the popularity and ease of locating items that we don’t see many gundam kits posted in these pages. this is a great looking classic. Thanks for sharing this one

    To be honest, it doesn't actually stand out that much in the series proper. The reason it doesn't stand out is that the series is trying so hard to sell her character as "quirky" and "eccentric" like her fellow Lanthanite CDR Pelia from Strange New Worlds that the writers have given her multiple annoying habits. Pelia can get away with it because she's mainly a comic relief character. Nahla Ake can't, because the series wants us to take her and her position seriously. So instead her habits just make her come off as unprofessional, rude, and occasionally hypocritical. Something something "even a broken clock is right twice a day"... Don't you be hating on my farmer's market folks now. Starfleet Academy is being marketed to Gen Z and Gen Alpha. The show's actual presentation definitely feels like the showrunners don't actually respect those viewers much, if at all. With the exception of SAM, the cadets are all old enough to be undergrads or grad students but the series resolutely treats them like a pack of unruly grade schoolers. Caleb's in his early 20's, but his behavior's really childish and the faculty treat him like he's an annoying tween.

    i personally can't accept parts swapping or additional support parts hehe. [i sold my copy of bandai DX-YF 21, i try to accept it but i just can't do. That's why i start this project, i don't have another 10yrs wait for another version of YF/VF 21/22.]

    I think most of us would be fine with some part swapping on the VF-22 to make the legs work, unless you figure out some way to get them to collapse.

    I saw a few clips and yikes. Who is the series made for? The people that go to a West Hollywood farmer's market?? Anyways, I've dropped out of Star Trek since the Picard series. This crap is also killing my love for the original series and movies.
