The figure looks so good and is going to be a great upgrade from the SRC version. And CSS Toys teased a Shin Getter so that is an automatic buy. Are there any pictures of the Gurren Lagann next to a Metal Build? Just curious how it scales and what the size is.

It sure seems bigger though: Edited January 26 by sqidd

At least you're in that boat. Mine was from the first batch that shipped in November. Tracking is dead at this point. I'm probably going to have to do a chargeback before PayPal's 6mo expires. which i'm sure will get me banned from ShowZ. Oh well. I can't just let it slide. I have a backup coming from Hobby Search, in theory this month. Fingers crossed.
General Rasp 32
Two model kits from P-Bandai US just showed up! Very confused why the HG box is bigger than the MG box.

Surface typically takes around 3 months for me in the NE USA. The tracking won't update until USPS has it.

They ship different things at different speeds. The Gurren Lagann definitely went out surface, but after they shipped mine I also got something else (a much smaller item) shipped air and it showed up in like a week or two. EDIT: I just checked tracking. It updated 66min ago. It's in New York. So USPS should have it here in March. Edited January 26 by sqidd

Mog 254
^^And the old standard: “Eat ramen for the whole month, while I pay off all the things I bought.”
borgified 232
Ramen... Cheap, extra starchy dehydrated noodles in a package and could clog up your arteries. I prefer Udon or Soba to be honest and it's better tasting.
Mog 254
But are udon and soba inexpensive enough to help you offset your collectibles payments and debts? The whole eating ramen thing was a running joke back in the day for how some folks would afford to get all their Macross crack/goodies.
Sanity is Optional 496
With the slow down in macross releases, I've taken to buying nicer instant noodle packets.

Mog 254
I mean, I like an occasional instant noodle (especially if I get to mix in an egg and sometimes some cabbage). But back in those days, I was able to save the funds for my “hobbies.” Who knew date nights with the future wifey and then diapers and formula would cut into the toy budget?! But back to that listing, where does “Get itch to make your own customs” fall in the list. Or does it take about 3 or 4 cycles before that step is added?
sqidd 6,538
I like ramen. Mix it with tuna and a little mayo Always been a Kraft Mac N Cheese guy (with the powdered cheese) I’m too old to eat that stuff now though. At 49 I have to be real picky about what I eat if I'm going to perform physically like l’m 25-30. Bummer.
